Sanity Does Not Become Us

I suppose this October has been okay with the release of Super Smash Bros and the new theme settings for the main menu (got myself that nifty blue Rosalina theme), but then of course something outright wrong had to happen at work: some guest actually died in the lobby today. I have no actual details on it since I had to be in the back to keep business going but I guess it’s no Halloween season without a corpse. Seriously out of all the places it had to be where I work, just right out of the blue.

Aside from the sudden death in the work area I actually tried to get to get into the spirit of Halloween by playing Castlevania: Circle of the Moon on my Cobalt GBA SP, but kind of ran into a problem. While it’s supposedly a tradition to play horror themed games I kind of came to the conclusion of "what’s the point?" It’s going to take me a long time to actually get to Dracula on and it doesn’t just stop at that game. Any horror game, whether it’s L4D2 or Magrunner: Dark Pulse, just depends on my mood. If I wanted to play something that is supposedly scary it would have to be something easy to pick and play. If I had to end the month with a horror game it might be Alien vs. Predator Classic.

And so November is almost among us, another week to pay my insurance premium and a few more weeks to wait for Persona Q and Pokemon Alpha Sapphire. While I am excited (in a very quiet fashion) for the new Pokemon release I’m actually more hyped for Persona, considering that I haven’t finished P4. So here’s to the end of the month, to upcoming releases for the 3DS, and by the way...

Sanity must become fish ..

Do you work at a hotel? Where did this person die? That's crazy.

I actually work at a McDonald's. Didn't really want the details...

I gotcha. That's some spooky stuff there.

Is your favorite color actually blue? lol

It actually is, in fact.

I had a job dealing with corpses... once, a long time ago.

Yikes....

I just kept back because I didn't want to see another dead body (refering to the  relatives that have passed away in my lifetime).

Cobalt is my roommate's favorite color. It looks neat on a GBA SP too. Does yours have the good backlight?

Sadly it's the frontlight model. But I still love it anyway.

That's mine too. I ended up getting a DS lite to play my GBA games because it has a much brighter screen. I do love the size of the GBA SP though. It's perfect size to carry around.

I had a DS Lite but then I accidently broke the hinge. Tried to replace the casing but I screwed up the flat wire so much I have to fiddle with the top to make it appear. I still got it though, incase I have the time and money to do it again properly.

But yeah, I need to get back to a few games on the GBA too so I'll be carrying that to work with me starting tomorrow.

I booted up my DS lite last night for the first time in a while to make sure Breath of Fire would play on it. Works fine. It's a good size too. Fits in the pocket very comfortably. The hinges are a little loose though. I got it used. I hope it doesn't break.

That's some timely Halloween stuff right there.

That's what I was thinking.
