Ellis looks around and asks " do you think that really could have been our old friends from Sacramento?" Coach shrugs his shoulders and responds " do we really care?" Rochelle stares at coach, shakes her head, and slaps Coach. What do you mean "who cares"? Granted we didn't get off to the best start with them in the beginning, but we could work together "oh" and by the way, they are all still human too. Sometimes I wonder if you still are. Nick can no longer control himself and bursts out laughing. Look at the bright side Coach, at least you will be the second biggest Zombie out there. You might even take over the top spot if you should decide to eat a tank or two. I gonna eat me a smart mouth second rate gambler if he doesn't wise up. Second rate gambler, now that's funny claims Ellis from his vantage point. Coach looking embarresed turns to Rochelle and says "damn girl you hit pretty hard for a prissy little girl." Call me that again and I will show you how prissy I am. Our group is not aware that other group of survivors are watching what transpires between them as a Spitter is preparing to launch an attack. Off in the distance you here the singing of an infected, is it a witch or is it a vamp? Will the troops be able to withstand a three sided attack and will the other survivors aid them or turn on them?

Just as Bill reaches the point of no return, Lucy Ann steps in front of his rifle. Grandpa, I know you are mad, and I know you aren't thinking right, but killing this man is nothing short of murder. Bill winces as he drops the rifle to the floor. "your lucky fat man that my granddaughter has more compassion than I do." Zoey walks over to Bill and gives him a hug. " I almost lost my father figure and I don't think I could handle that." You are right kid, I am sorry" Bill says as he walks away. Louis, one to always help the situation says "gee for a minute I thought Bill was turning into Francis". "If I didn't need a status climbing crybaby I would slap you down myself." Francis snarles at Louis Zoey looks at her friends and laughs. I though I was traveling with men, now I see I have an emotional old man, a jumpy status climber, and a vest wearing bad ass. In short, three spoiled men boys. I guess being the voice of reason I think we should make the effort to hook up with our long lost traveling companions, and see if we can get started on rebuilding mankind. Let us get started. Lucy Ann smiles at Bill and says" Thank you grandpa I knew you hadn't lost it." Bill smiles at Lucy Ann but no one sees the slight glow in the corner of Bill's eye.

I have been away from the gamming world tending to matters of real life. I think everything is now back on line and I shall be able to finish the story. If you are still interested thank you. If not then i shall finish it for me. I hope my friends and followers are still there. THanks OldDude1

Our survivors are watching closely as four radiation suit Zombies make their way across the breezeway towards the building. They decide that maybe they should retreat to the other end on he compound where they will have a better view of what the Zombies are trying to do. Rochelle shakes her head and says "It is if they are thinking about their next move. If they learn to think then we have a problem." Bullshit shouts Coach, they are just walking bodies of decopmosition. The group starts back through the remains of a Japanese Garden that remains from before. The hanging lanterns are ripped and torn and the fountains are murky but it still has the feel of a relaxing place. The group sits down to discuss the newest antagonist to the compound. Unseen by all a Water Gator slowly approaches from behind Rochelle. Nick starts to say something when a scream rings out and the group realizes Rochelle is being attacked. Ellis (in his full superhero mode) rises to the occasion and saves Rochelle. :Still think I am a young mouthy punk?" Rochelle laughs and slaps Ellis on the shoulder. Funny boy, now grow up. Ellis looks hurt until he realizes Rochelle is kidding. A loud comotion brings them back to heir present situation. They all return to the vantage point and watch the four radiation Zombies. It seems to them that they are actually resting and making plans. No one seems to notice that their are four more zombies watching them as well. Zoey is horrified to realize that Bill has taken out his gun and is bearing down on Coach. Francis grabs Bill and says "what are you doing?" Bill says one of those bastards shot me and now I will get even. Louis looks around and says wait " how do you know they were the ones that shot you? Bill shakes his head and says "How many other survivors do you see here. Francis says Bill if you do that you will be no better that the things we are killing now. " I really don't give a shit anymore" as Bill shouldered his rifle. The others stepped back as they realized there was no turning hin around. Bill sights donw his rifle, lines up the large chest of Coach and mutters "this is what you get for being an idiot" Bill's finger whitens as he starts to pull the trigger. Coach laughs at something Ellis has just said. Not knowing he is now in the sights of an automatic weapon. Life may be about to change.

As the survivors approach an abandoned amusement park they see where there has been fresh signs of life. Could it be survivors or maybe even their own band of survivors?  As our tired goup walks through the park they see a Ferris Wheel tha has been used lately. Bil looks up and  says well someone had to be let down from here, any guesses as to who? Francis says "I bet it was the stupid kid that was always wanting to ride something." Louis says " I bet it was Rochelle as she was always thinking ahead and thiought she could get a better view as to what was coming next". Zoey says " I think it was Coach because he wanted to prove he could still do things even at his weight."  Bill says" I think it was Ellis because he was the only one young and stupid enough to put everyone at risk by going out on his own."  I say we just get through this place and move forward, Francis says. if you look around you will see that several battles have been waged here and I really don't want to be a part of any others. There came a haunting laugh from behind them which sent chills through them all. As the group turns to look they see the lille girl that had followed them, heped them? or tormented them for most of there trip. As the group leaves the park and sees the gate to their final destination, the sound of gun fire erupts around them. Bill recognigezs the sound of military weapons and leads the survivors to an abondoned building. It is only then Bill realizes that the gun fire came from the other half of their own group they left in Sacramento. He couldn't figure out why they would shoot at them until he realized they were wearing radiation suits. Bill looks over his travleing companions and says " I hope the radiation is gone now because it's time to give up the suits." Zoey takes his arm ans says "What if it's not?" Bill looks at Zoey solemly and says "Then the radiation will kill us rather than the survivors." Bill removes his suit and starts to the door, With guns on him Bil cries out " We are the survivors that you left in Sacramento, we are not infected, can we all join up now?" A single shot rings out as Bill falls back into the building. THe Hormonal Loille Bitch is watching closely as Lucy Ann runs to Bill's side. What happened here and by who's orders?

Ellis starts again to tell the group what he has seen when the a haunting sound comes from nearby. Before he can continue Rochelle slaps him across the face. Ellis shakes his head and says I would rather deal with this witch than with Rochelle when she is upset. "What was that you young little smart ass?" Ellis smiles and looks over at Nick and says " See what I mean." Nick says "yeah I know, I had my go round with her this morning". Coach, who was sitting back and taking it all in starts laughing at what has unfolded before him. "Could you two cause any more trouble in a shorter period of time?" asked Coach. Rochelle walks over to Coach and kicks him in the upper thigh (nice way to say ass) and says "that's just for laughing at me." The group starts out and Nick says " Ellis, tell us what you saw from the top of the Ferris Wheel. A scream out of nowhere and the group realizes they set off the witch they had heard earlier. The group kills the witch as it attacks Ellis. Coach reaches down and pulls Ellis to his feet. Ellis dusts himself off and Nick says " well you got your wish, you dealt with the witch and not Rochelle. It seems that both kicked your ass." "Funny Nick" at least the witch only knocked me down, I am still travling with Rochelle. Rochelle finally looks at Ellis and says " are you going to tel us what you saw, or you going to keep it a secret"? Well I'm not sure but I think I found the place where we are supposed to be. Why do yu think that asked Coach. Ellis says there is a sign on the gate that says "Science" and the rest is gone. Well that's us. lets go. Ellis takes the lead as they descend into the compound to finally get to safety. Has our group finally made it to safety? The sound of an approaching tank is all they hear as they walk through the gate.

Bill, Zoey, and Francis arive on the far side of ground zero and find Louis lying on the ground with his radiation suit melting against his body. Bill finds a water hole and tosses Louis into it. The melting slowly stops and Louis's eyes roll back in his head.

Rochelle awakes at first light and starts to stir.
