Welcome! I was a 1up lurker and decided to try blogging here, but I have not been very productive at all so I get your delima, lol! I can say that everybody here seems to be pretty cool and the comments sections are different than most sites. This place has a way more positive vibe.
I have a theory that the two major parties in power (dems and repubs) both really want the same thing, and that thing is not beneficial to us little guys but big business and money. Therefore, they keep coming up with other little things to disagree on soley for the purpose of keeping us arguing with each other too long to notice.
Hey, wait a minute.. You have the same theory. Hmmm...
Crap. I think we need to find something to disagree on or start looking over our sholders.
I get that zombies are overdone. I do call into question though making a statement about World War Z, a book you have not read and a movie nobody has yet watched. In all fairness, you probably are right, but it buggs me when opinions are made prematurely.
what medium do you do your art in? I always assumed they were drawings in pencil ala comic books, but the colors in that look computered. just curious.
I am really surprised you got DmC. I seem to remember on 1up you did not like the direction it took at all. I figured you were gonna boycott it.
Unfortunately, I think that is the scariest part of a zombie attack. It is not the zombies or the need to survive. It is the depraved acts that humanity will stoop to without any governing order to surpress it. If you go back to Romero's Night of the Living Dead, it did not deal to these extremes, but the underlying theme was that of the poor human condition. Rewatch the original black and white version. It is more of a social study than a horror film. I'm not a fan of rape scenes and do not endorse it in any way but in a movie like 28 days later, I think it was more social commentary than shock value.
It's good to see a lot of love for the SNES here.
Thankyou. Yes, PS1 had some great rpgs. I think that is the era a lot of people became more exposed to them, which is a good thing.
