Storm of Swords is a fantastic book!
It's pretty astounding how your book list is echoing mine. I finished Ringworld a few weeks ago and just picked up Ringworld Engineers to continue the series. And I picked up The Name of the Wind on recommendation of many, many modern fantasy fans, along with Joe Abercrombie's The Blade Itself. I'm hoping to get to those books sometime soon.
I LOVE Death Grips. I think they and Clipping have kept in interested in modern hip hop.
Thanks for the well wishes! My stomach doesn't always react to stress. Sometimes it'll act up for no reason, but on days like this past week, it'll take the oppurtunity to add itself to whatever problems I'm dealing with. With histories of stomach problems, I'm sure you all understand.
Yeah, the multiplayer in TLOU is very unique and enjoyable. One of the developers came out as saying it's the best multiplayer ever, which is a stretch, but it is a great experience.
I was thinking of getting a Wii U sometime soon also, but I realized I have more than enough consoles at the moment. Besides, I can alway just head to my friend's house to play for a while!
I'm with GeminiMan. While I don't believe it should escalate to an invasion, the US does have a responsibility as the global superpower it is to enforce international law. If full-scale war were announced, I'd immediately cry outrage. However, at least this time around, there would be evidence of the WMD. Sigh, I wish life was as dualistic as fiction makes it.

Yeah, I've noticed that too. I got the first 2 episodes for free off PSPlus last year, so I saved a little bit more there. Hopefully the price will drop soon; I recommend everyone give this game a try.
It's a sweet, satisfying ending. I don't think I would have paid much for it since it's so short, but it was definitely a nice surprise.

I appreciate that! I came aboard after 1up's closing was announced because I felt that this community was something I liked. However, for a variety of reasons, I haven't really participated in it. I'm aiming to correct that.
