Lego Rock Band Review

With a family-friendly presentation and construction, players looking to enjoy a proper Rock Band game with their kids now have the perfect offering.

Rock Band is a young franchise, but has already been through many iterations. Given the widespread appeal of the game, many different track arrangements have been released to satisfy all musical preferences. Though all of these arrangements exist, the challenge level of the games have never reduced to appeal to a younger crowd. As such, Harmonix and Traveller's Tales have teamed up to create Lego Rock Band. The game still features an equivalent challenge level for adults while including easier modes and settings for kids.

AC/DC Rock Band Walmart Exclusivity Ending Soon

Players will be able to enjoy the Aussie rocker's live track pack without purchasing the title at Walmart.

AC/DC Live: Rock Band Track Pack is one of many Rock Band track packs that have been released in standalone form to retail outlets. However, given the exclusivity deal AC/DC has had with the mega-corporation, Walmart, when the game released last November, it was limited to just that chain of stores.

Neal and Lauren are going to the Greater Philadelphia Area to check out GameX aka the Games & Media Expo this weekend.

Lauren and I made a brief sojourn to VGXPO, another Philadelphia-based gaming expo, two weeks ago. Now, two weeks later, we're going to hit up the Greater Philadelphia Expo Center for GameX, a "national game consumer show and 'pop culture' festival."

Abbey Road Coming to The Beatles: Rock Band This Week

A full Beatles album will soon be available for download, B-sides and all.

Over a month after The Beatles: Rock Band debuted, Abbey Road, the first full album downloadable release, is coming out Xbox 360 (October 20), PlayStation 3 (October 22), and Wii (October 20).

The Britpop quartet are being made into LEGO characters in the next Rock Band game.

The recently reunited Blur is going to appear as LEGO versions of themselves in this holiday season's LEGO Rock Band, according to Rolling Stone.

Full Track List for LEGO Rock Band Announced

The Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 versions will be compatible with family friendly downloadable content and most of the set list will be able to exported to other Rock Band games.

Warner Bros. and MTV Games revealed the full track list for all versions of LEGO Rock Band today. The console versions will have 45 songs while the Frequency-esque DS version will have 25.

The Beatles: Rock Band Review

They've been going in and out of style, but they're guaranteed to raise a smile, so may I introduce to you, the act you've known for all these years…

The Beatles have legions of fans that span all age ranges. I was never really a member of that broad group, but I did enjoy some Beatles songs from time to time. However, I am a huge Rock Band fan, so when The Beatles: Rock Band was announced last year, I was interested. After playing the retail copy, I can safely say that The Beatles: Rock Band is an artistically beautiful video game that solidified my fandom of the Beatles.
