PixlTalk E3 Day 5 - The Final Day of the Show and Beyond

The crew reunites post-E3 to discuss the end of the show and what you can expect in terms of coverage going forward.

Nick, Chessa, Jason R, Chris, and Rob are all present for a bit of post-E3 discussion and a general wrap-up of the show.

The team talks about what they played on their final day on the show floor, what was exciting, and what we plan to cover going forward.

On behalf of the staff of PixlBit, a big thanks goes out to our readers who stuck with us throughout the show and checked out our coverage. We had a huge out turn and couldn't have been happier with the liveliness of the site while we were at the show!

Also, the iTunes feed has been updated, so if you listen via iTunes, go ahead and refresh to pull down all of our E3 podcasts.

That was quick editing, Nick, good job! I figured we'd see this one in a month or so. =P

That said, we're still not done with our E3 impressions! Don't consider this the conclusion of E3 articles on the site, we've still got several games and Video Games Live to go over!

Sounds good, I'd like to see more screenshots, video, and gameplay footage, which I'm sure is forthcoming.

Also, a reminder next to the comment box of who I'm commenting as, would be handy.

Well, anonymous, I believe we only have a few more videos, unfortunately. I only videotaped parts where I was able to get someone to talk about the game, and even then, it didn't happen much.

Not to mention, since half the time I went around on my own, I had to talk to the person and run the camera at the same time... That didn't always work out.

So, in the interest of honesty, videos are at the lowest priority right now, because they may not be the highest quality. Keep an eye out for other stuff, though, and I hope you won't be disappointed.

Metroid Prime 4: Beyond Review

It’s been a long time since we’ve seen an entry in the Metroid Prime series - 18 years, in fact. It was 8 years ago that Metroid Prime 4 was originally announced and its development was more than a little turbulent. Initially developed by Bandai Namco, it was later scrapped completely and development was shifted back to Retro Studios to start the project over. In the end, Retro has delivered a solid new entry in the series, but one that doesn’t totally capture what originally made the series so compelling.
