Hello and welcome to PB & Jason! If you're a first-time listener, you'll be in for a treat. In the first part of the issue, I talk a bit about myself and my history with video games. For the second half, I literally just rely a bit too heavily on blogs. Why would I come up with compelling content if I can just take others', after all? At 8 years on 1UP I never listened to a podcast. I havent been here 8 days and I listened to your whole podcast, very interesting. I almost bought a Wii just to play Mickey's Epic Adventure, now Im glad I didnt.
Having listened to about 50 minutes, let me just say it's too late for me on inflating Nick's ego, but BrokenH is a guy, I think you said "she" when discussing his blog.
And aside from Retronauts, which I think I listened to once or twice, I'm the same as GH in terms of podcasts.

Well, if it takes too long for me to have a page of blogs I'm following on here, so I can keep track, I'll start deflating his ego by nagging him about it, how's that? lol
Eh, not quite good enough. Talk about how his code smells funny or something.
Now everyone needs to stop commenting on Jason's episodes of PB & Jason or HIS ego is going to get inflated. Then I'll have to buy him a company car to keep him here and maybe even have another kid and name them after Jason, even if it's a girl.
Girls with boy's names tend to be attractive. I've never met an ugly girl named Sam, personally.
Also, a college friend used to love quoting the Switchfoot song "Company Car" every time the sell-out nature of our university jobs came up.

Probably the thing that rang truest for me was how you feel about QTEs. I absolutely, whole-heartedly agree, and it is a major reason why I haven't been interested in any of the Uncharted Series or Tomb Raider, as you have mentioned. In my opinion, QTEs are the laziest form of interactive content, and they were a hangup of mine in Resident Evil 4 as I felt they tripped up what was in all other areas an awesome game.
When I play a video game i want to play a VIDEO GAME, not the gaming equivalent of a hearing test. Great Podcast!
Yup, I'm a bro,bro! lol.It's no big deal. It's an easy mistake to make when just meeting people. On the internet gender is more of an unknown factor anyway. For example, some guys use pics of their favorite actresses or favorite female game characters as their avatars. It's easy to mix stuff up. (Though I mentioned even in my blog I was a guy,guy! I like saying guy a lot, makes me come off as more "Canadian!" Sadly, I'm a boring American or "Yank" depending on your point of view!)
PS: Props for liking Bastion! I tend to love top down action rpg/exploration hybrids. As for having "different opinions on games" that's just the nature of the beast, Jason. I won't hate you for it or anything. (Though I might get into impassioned nerdy debates over it once in awhile. Hey, noone is perfect!)
PPS: Pentacle is old. He's 11-12 as of today. It might simply be his time but when you love a pet so much they're family it's difficult to accept the harsh realities sometimes. Regardless thanks for your support, Jason! It's appreciated!
