The Sly Collection Coming to PSN

Now they can be bought individually.

Fans of the Sly Cooper franchise were delighted when The Sly Collection came to retail. It featured the three PlayStation 2 games remastered in HD and with Trophy support among other features, some hidden from players up until that point. Well, if you haven't picked up the collection yet, here's another way to get your Cooper fix.

Sony has annouced that the three games are to be released for digital download on the PlayStation Network. The collection will come complete with all of the features the retail version of the collection came with. However, the games will also be able to be bought separately.

Each game will cost $9.99 and the three games together will be $29.99. The announcement came as a response to a user question posed to Glen Egan, president of Sanzaru Games. Sanzaru Games is the company that compiled the Sly games for the HD collection and is also developing the upcoming sequel, Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time.

To clarify, these games are not coming to the PSN as PS2 classics: they are the PS3 HD versions. The Sly Collection will be released on the PlayStation Network on November 29, 2011. Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time is set to be released sometime in 2012.
