Sony released a list of PSP games and PlayStation Minis that will work with the PlayStation Vita at launch. Because the Vita will not use the UMD format, all of these titles refer to their digital incarnations that were purchased via the PlayStation Store.

156 PSP titles will be compatible alongside 118 PlayStation Minis. Plenty of fan favorites like the God of War games, Soul Calibur, and Assassin's Creed have made the list alongside obscure titles like Half-Minute Hero and What Did I Do to Deserve This My Lord 1 & 2.
