Sonic & Sega All-Stars Racing to Receive a Sequel

It's nearly a year away, but a new racer from Sega is on its way.

Today's Toy Fair in New York brought some interesting news for Sega fans. Kotaku reports that toys for a Sonic & Sega All-Stars Racing sequel were on display and exhibitors confirmed that the new title will be making its way to retail this holiday season.

Currently, little is known about the game, but new characters and vehicles are expected and will be revealed by Sega at some point later this year. For more information on the original game, be sure to check out our review.

This makes me excited for real. I really liked the last one and felt it was so so close to matching Mario Kart's quality. Though I prefer Mario Kart games more than the first Sega Racing, it was more than a nice change of pace for kart racing.
