BlazBlue: Continuum Shift Confirmed For America

Aksys Games and Arc System Works will be bringing the title to both the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.

Aksys Games announced yesterday that they are planning to localize the upcoming sequel to BlazBlue, BlazBlue: Continuum Shift.

The game, scheduled to release this July in Japan, currently has an undetermined release date in America, but will be released for both the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.

Three new fighters will be available in the updated version, Hazama, Tsubaki, and ?-12. In addition, the game will feature a collection of new levels, and four new modes: Tutorial, Beginner, Challenge, and Legion.

Currently, the game has no solid release date in North America, but it will likely come after it releases this summer in Japan.

I'm happy I skipped on the original BlazBlue and Street Fighter 4. Now I get to purchase the "Complete" versions.

My situation is about the same, I plan to get both the upgraded titles for this and Street Fighter 4, too.
