No PSN Version of Kingdom Hearts: Birth By Sleep?

Due to Disney's influence, the latest Kingdom Hearts for PSP might only be released on UMD.

According to a pamphlet given out during a demo event for PlayStation titles (shown below), Kingdom Hearts: Birth By Sleep is not listed for a PSN release. Unlike other PSP games in the pamphlet, Birth By Sleep lacked the PSN Store icon in the product description.

A tweet from an attendee (translated by NeoGAF), states that after talking with the development team, a downloadable release is not planned. Because Disney, a holder of many characters featured in the game, did not agree to digital sale of their games, the title will be withheld from digital distribution.

Way to fuck over those that paid extra for the PSP Go. Nice job, Sony.

My roommate and I would like to play this game. We would not like to invest into a PSP.

Why can't the PS3 play PSN PSP titles? I know this wouldn't be available, but still, I'm really confused at why it can't. Wouldn't it make it easier to market the PSP to devs and publishers?

Technically it would be Disney's fault since the developers cite Disney refusing a digital release.

It's Sony's responsibility to make sure every important offering of the platform can be played on the platform.

But it is bad decision by Disney. I'm not sure why they'd decide this.

Yeah, this whole thing makes no sense to me. I don't want to sound like a hater, but the PSPgo kind of sucks. Between missing or late games, horribly slow downloading and updating, and the increased price, I don't see how anyone wants it.
