I said, ARE YOU READY TO ROCK?! Boy, I sure hope so, because I've got some video game tracks that will melt your face off! I'll admit that I'm relatively new to rock music, as I was raised on the music of the '40s, '50s, and '60s, but in recent years I've really learned to rock out. So I wanted to share some of that love to you, the listeners. Unfortunately, I couldn't fill a brandy glass with nothing but brown M&Ms, so Ozzy didn't go on. Sorry about that. MIA - Gitaroo Man

You can do it, U-1! Believe in yourself!

With all my love for RPGs, fighting games, and big dumb action titles, it would probably come as a surprise that I have a large part of my heart reserved for music games. I’ve spent countless hours honing my skills on PaRappa the Rapper, Bust a Groove, and of course Guitar Hero. I even owned Britney’s Dance Beat because it was the closest thing Americans could get to a Bust a Groove 3, having been developed by the same team. However, one music game stands above them all in my eyes, and it’s the one that criminally never got a sequel. That game is Gitaroo Man, and I’m spending this edition of MIA to give some much needed love to a true diamond in the rough.

Dragon Quest IX Producer Working on Unreal Engine 3 RPG

Ryutaro Ichimura is using Epic Games' game engine.

Square Enix licensed the Unreal Engine 3 from Epic Games for a number of titles. Which titles, Square has not announced. However, some details have been leaked online. A report is saying that Dragon Quest IX producer Ryutaro Ichimura is working on one of these games.

Nier Director Not Pleased with Wii Graphics

Yoko Taro explains that he did not find the graphics of The Crystal Bearers appealing due to the SD nature of the Wii.

While at Tokyo Game Show, Yoko Taro, director of the upcoming Square Enix title, Nier, had a few choice words for Nintendo and the Wii.
