Games Galore At Ubisoft's E3 2012 Press Conference

Far Cry 3, Assassin's Creed III and more impressed.

Ubisoft's E3 2012 press conference showcased many games and although there weren't too many new games announced, what was shown was impressive. Trailers for Splinter Cell: Blacklist, ZombiU, and Marvel Avengers: Battle for Earth were shown and a video quickly announcing Rabbids Land, Your Shape (an exercise title), and Sports Connection (a collection of mini-games) all for the Wii U was also shown.

$99 4GB Xbox 360 with Kinect to be Made Available at More Retailers

New deal will be available later this year.

Earlier this year, Microsoft made their 4GB Xbox 360 consoles with Kinect available at the low price of $99 along with a two year subscription to Xbox Live Gold at $14.99 per month.  This deal was originally only available at participating Microsoft Stores, but today that deal expands to more retailers.

Sony Focuses On First Party Titles At E3 Conference

Highlights include a new title from Quantic Dream and demo of The Last of Us.

Sony's press conference this year started off with a bang with a video that served as an overview of what would be shown. The video featured a stable of first party titles as well as some functionality announcements. Assassin's Creed III and Far Cry 3 also made their presence known.

Wii U to Support 2 Tablet GamePads

We can all rest easy now.

Since the Wii U’s unveiling at last year’s E3, many have wondered just exactly how many Wii U GamePads the system would support.  Initial showings of the system and game demos always showed just one person using the tablet-like controller, while others playing along used the classic Wii remote controller, which lead many to believe that Nintendo’s new machine would only support a single GamePad.  Today those concerns were wiped away.
