Scribblenauts is back... yay?

As many of you know, I had the pleasure of reviewing Scribblenauts shortly after I started PixlBit for Nintendo World Report. I gave the game a 7/10 there, and I felt that I was being generous. I rewarded the game mostly for its innovative concept, but the implementation of their design was clearly lacking. Super Scribblenauts is supposed to be the answer to everyone's issues with the original game, but after my hands-on time, aside from a new control scheme, Super Scribblenauts appears to be no better than the first.

PokePark Wii: Pikachu's Adventure Hands On Preview

A mini-game collection clearly geared at kids, but who said that was a bad thing.

With the PokePark Wii: Pikachu's Adventure booth set up right next to Donkey Kong Country Returns, I decided to make a quick stop and try out a few of the mini-games that comprise the title. During my demo I was able to try four different mini-games, each different in design.

A twitter post confirms that the classic title is coming in 3D.

Honestly, the headline says it all, The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time is coming to the 3DS in glorious 3D.

The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword Hands On Preview

What do you get when you merge the controls of Wii Sports Resort with the presentation and gameplay of Wind Waker and Twilight Princess?

I'm not sure why it has taken me this long to write about Zelda, but now's the time to spill the beans. In short, it's really awesome. Players take control of Link in a totally new way, this time with full MotionPlus support. Players familiar with Wii Sports Resort will have a fairly clear idea of what's available in Skyward Sword.

Donkey Kong Country Returns Hands On Preview

I can't believe it, but Donkey Kong Country is back ... and from Retro Studios at that!

After Nintendo announced that Retro Studios was reviving the Donkey Kong Country series during their press conference today, there was no question where I was headed to first.

3DS Hands On Preview

We get a look, literally at the 3DS.

At the end of Nintendo's Press Event, a number of Nintendo representatives lined up at the back of the Nokia Theater and offered journalists a chance to see the 3DS in action.

Ubisoft Announces Rayman Origins

A toolkit from Ancel will enable a small team to create a 2D prequel for Rayman.

During their media briefing today, Ubisoft revealed that Michel Ancel, creator of Rayman and Beyond Good & Evil, has started work on a brand new Rayman title, Rayman Origins.

Walking to lunch today, we had a couple surprises. It seems Microsoft has decided to put out an awesome statue for Halo: Reach in the E3 main hallway that a group of artists were finishing on the spot.
