Assassin's Creed II Review

A vast improvement over the already fantastic original title.

While I've made this particularly clear in the past, I'll say it again now: I love Assassin's Creed. I purchased the first title for the 360 on somewhat of a whim, not expecting much, and completely fell in love with the game's mechanics and the beautiful environments. Of course, the game did suffer from some repetition problems, but given what I enjoyed about the game, it never bothered me to any great degree. As a matter of fact, I nearly completed 100% of the game, aside from finding all of the flags.

Rockstar Announces Red Dead Redemption International Release Dates

Today, Rockstar Games announced the international release dates for their upcoming Western shooter, Red Dead Redemption. The sequel to Red Dead Revolver is slated for release on both the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, and will be available in North America, April 27, 2010, and all other regions on the 30th.

Madden NFL Arcade Review

Football reduced to its simplest form, with an arcade twist.

Back when I was just a boy, Madden '94 was a cornerstone of my existence; alongside Ken Griffey Jr.'s Major League Baseball, of course. Back in those days, the Madden series was significantly less complex. The play selection was no deeper than any edition of NFL Blitz, and the controls were simple enough to work on the SNES controller. Though it wasn't particularly labeled as an arcade title, it featured enough similarities that I always considered it as such.
