Hello all. So, Nintendo announces DLC for Zelda, and Sniper 4 and Nioh get great reviews.  Chris Yarger was telling me he got For Honor but when I asked him about it he said he took a nap during the install. Oh, the state of console gaming in 2017!

For Valentine's day today I gave myself a present: I bought a new recumbent exercise bike.  I'm in the middle of setting it up. Fun. Seriously though, I needed something to jumpkick my health. I have managed to slow down the soda, but my lifestyle is very sedentary. When I was younger I walked a lot and that was most of my exercise. Now I get winded if I walk a little. Boo! Time to get serious, step by little step.

I've been really having the urge to play a console game, but haven't done so yet. It might be Dark Souls 3, Witcher 3, Mirrors Edge, or I might go back to FF, which I haven't finished. Just been really busy and obsessed with my work, but I'm a little ahead of some things for this month, so I need to chill.

I'm really considering upgrading my computer next month and buying the docking station and a GTX1060 to start doing some real computer gaming. I gave up playing Xcom on my other computer, it just can't handle it and eventually crashes.

I love Xcom 2.

In the meantime, I've posted the first 2,000 words of my new novel on my blog. You can find that here:

The book comes out on February 20th, and can be found on Amazon here:

Anyway, that's about it. I've had a long day, but tomorrow I'll get back into my game memories for BaD.

Whoa, Chris Y. How's he doing?

For Honor is ok, I'm playing the beta. It's kind of a rock paper scissors where you have to guess which side (left, up, or right) you want to attack or block from. It's pretty simple. I was going to play last night, but Ubisoft wasn't letting me on the server. That or the apartment's Internet is tired of me doing too much which is more likely. My roommate says we have the slowest Internet possible, so I imagine my downloads don't help.

Installing games has been the bane of my existence. Even with the disc, it can numerous hours just to start playing a game. I was surprised when Fate/Extella didn't install and started immediately. That's the only game this generation that I know of so far that has avoided the mandatory install.

That's a Wii U game right?  Those tend to be a little saner.
