The Salvation Army store is a great charity with a history that stretches all the way back to Reconstruction. They provide low prices for a large variety of second-hand items, and offer valuable community services in the areas of homeless assistance, missing persons, disaster relief, substance abuse, and more.

More importantly they also sell games for dirt cheap, and today I struck gold gold GOLD:

EBOUND

You see, when you give your games away to the Salvation Army you're not just getting a tax write-off with the satisfaction of also helping people get off drugs and into a home -- you're also helping game collectors get fantastic games at prices that are... more down to earth than your average ebay seller. I got Earthbound today for a mere two dollars. Thanks America. Your donations are appreciated.

Hate you right now. Utter jealous hatred.

If you find an extra, I'll pay handsomely... not really.

Well, Chris and I both own copies of EarthBound. I know at least I have the guide somewhere. Someone decided to return the game to Wal*Mart or something like that, and my Wal*Mart employees decided to put the game guide on the Player's Guide rack. I saw it, took it to the counter, and they let me buy it for some price I don't recall that wasn't outside the norm for Player's Guides. Long time ago. Very weird. Definitely nice.
