What do I watch, anyway?

I tend to gravitate towards a lot of different genres, but I'm partial to Sci-Fi, Horror, and Comedy. I've also got a soft spot for Crime dramas and Mysteries, which probably comes from all the Murder, She Wrote, Colombo, Perry Mason, and Masterpiece Mystery my mother watched when I was younger.

Finished up Season (Series?) 3 of Sherlock yesterday, which I thought was as good as the show usually is. I read that some people disliked the way a particular character was handled, and while I understand their reasoning, I disagree with their opinion.

I've also been watching Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., which I don't find all that interesting, except for any scene involving Agent Coulson. His character's pretty much the only reason I watch that show.

I pretty much bailed on Supernatural after a couple episodes of it's latest season. Maybe I'll reconsider after the season's finished and reruns start up, but from what I've read I don't think I'll be regretting my decision any time soon.

While the latest season of American Horror Story (Coven) was a little more disjointed than I would have liked, I still enjoyed it for the most part. I really disliked one part in particular, but I want to avoid spoiling it for anyone who hasn't watched it yet.

As far as animated stuff goes, Rick and Morty is quickly becoming one of my new favorite shows. It's just so funny and weird, it feels like it was made for me. I'm also watching as much of the Toonami block as I can, which was something I didn't get the chance to do during it's original run due to not having cable.

It's still open season on questions, so please fire away. I'll try my best to not avoid answering them.

Ok, bye.

SHIELD has been getting better, and I think they're bringing in two new characters which should be interesting. I always tell people if you like the concept of SHIELD minus the Marvel backing with better storylines, check out Warehouse 13 on SyFy.

I've seen a little of that show, it reminds me a lot of Friday the 13th: The Series.

I think SHIELD will pick up soon. People are so critical! Two shows I'm thoroughly enjoying are Arrow and Orphan Black. Fantastic characters and stories in both of them!

I think it will too, I just need to focus less on my expectations and wait and see what the show can do.

I can't believe I almost forgot about Orphan Black, at least I did remember to mark on my calendar when the new season starts up. I haven't watched Arrow but I've heard good things here and there.

I don't really watch a lot of modern live action TV, although I do like the Regular Show cartoon quite a bit.  My favorite TV show of all time is Mystery Science Theater 3000.

I tried watching Regular Show a while back and didn't really get into it. Maybe I'll give it another shot some time.

I used to watch Supernatural religiously but I dropped off about 3 seasons or so back. I watch an episode here and there now but very rarely.

That's probably what I should've done, but I hung in there as long as I could.

Heh..I kinda like mystery stuff..But I'm kinda picky about it.(And most things in general that are part of entertainment..) Don't watch much TV..Kinda never have but I guess stuff my Mom's watched kinda interests me at times like House M.D when she was watching it and I sometimes watch stuff on the FoodNetwork/Cooking channel if I feel like it or Bizzar Foods with Andrew Zimmerman..But that is sporadically-rare..

I'm not that picky when it comes to shows I watch, as long as it holds my interest I continue watching.

It's kinda funny to me that the only time I watch the Food Network is when I'm waiting on an order from a nearby pizzaria, which only makes me feel hungrier. Maybe that's why they do that.

I know Sherlock and another you mentioned are on Netflix, what shows do you like streaming? Personally, I'm stoked for House of Cards

I wish I had access to Netflix, but for various reasons I don't. Though one of the hurdles (credit card) is probably easier to get than a non-driver's ID.

The last recent TV show I watched was Party Down. Loved that show. Didn't last long. Only two seasons but there's possibly a movie on the way.

I've seen some of that show, maybe I'll try and catch up on it.

I istll have yet gotten around to watching any of those shows you've mentioned though I do have a general interest in seeing how they are. That's what I get for having netflix as my primary video source.
