So it has been awhile. I keep reading every morning at 4 o'clock when I get up before I start volunteering. I am learning so much and it is allowing me to focus on what is really important to me. So far it has been so worth it. I do about 9 hours a days of service then its my own workout and homework and then an early bedtime for me so I can get up.

There is not a lot of time to sit down and actually game recently. My girlfriend bought me Dark Souls 2 but I haven't been able to get to it. I don't want to start it without knowing I can commit at least a couple hours to it. I am really excited to play it though. It's just staring at me and laughing at me. I was able to sit down and play Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City. Right from the start, I knew this game was going to be bad.

How bad? It was really bad. If I had friends to play online with, then maybe it would be enjoyable but by myself it was just a rough experience. Picking classes and just not being resident evil. Plus all the abilities the classes have suck. They are really worthless unless you are playing online competitively. I am so glad I got it for like 5 bucks and I beat in one sitting. Sure it was fun for the sake of it being bad but those are some hours I will never get back. The one cool thing was seeing the story from Resident Evil 2 play out and being able to see Leon and his story unfolding.

Other than that. I just have been super busy. I read blogs and watch twitch while I do homework or fall asleep. My friend is trying to get me into League of Legends. Which I am not against it. But I got other games *cough Dark Souls 2 *cough to play. I might start live-streaming Diablo 2 because well its the only PC game I got at college with me and if I find free time, it is a game that I know will always be fun no matter what. Who knows right? I sure don't any more. It is funny a couple of weeks ago, I thought I had my life all figured out then it did a 180. I was scared at first but now its hard to see anything different from what I am doing now. I hope to get back and write more here. But just know, I am still reading y'all lovin it. I love it here. There is no place like home/ a place on the internet I can go to and escape into a hobby that is not highly looked upon within what I do.

That's too bad video gaming is looked down upon by other people in what you do. It's not like no one who plays video games goes outdoors or works out from time to time. Why I've even known people who are good at sports and like playihg ZeldaSurprised

Good luck with everything, man. I need to get back into basketball. Watching my college (SFASU) get as far as they did reminded me of how much fun I used to have shooting hoops by myself, for the school, or with the neighbors as a kid. I was always a great shot, but never a physical player. Now that I'm more into working out regularly, I can change that I think.

Yea I am with a ton of athletes and I hardcore lift. My two hobbies is lifting and video games. But I can't really talk to hardcore lifters about anything but lifting. It is hard to make friends that like lifting and video games.

You should def hoop. I suck at hooping. Even video game hooping.

A lot of people play baskbetall in the gyms here, even in seasons SFA doesn't go to the round of 32. If I tried now I'd get my ass kicked if my shots were contested, but I still make a mean H.O.R.S.E. player. Laughing I suck at football sims, but b-ball sims I'm ok with, and I'm decent in arcadey sports titles.

My friends lift and go to competitions all the time, but they have other interests. In fact, we tended to talk about philosophy when weight lifting together. Austin shares my interest in video games and movies, though not genres, and Wes likes watching wrestling and Game of Thrones. Tell your lifting friends to be more interesting. lol

There's gotta be lifters that like playing FPS games at the very least I would think.

It is crazy how much I have gotten into philosophy as I started lifting. My strength coaches and just guys I have talked to at the gym are all about it. I have started reading a bunch of older stuff like Plato and Aristotle. Crazy haha.

See, you didn't say that, that's an interesting thing to talk about. lol My friend Wes is a big Kierkegard fan. He's also a Buddhist. I assume I like Taoism, but I need to read more about it. lol

hey good to hear from you man.  That Raccoon City game sounds like it blows though for sure.

I don't think I have what it takes to learn a MOBA.

Yea its really scary haha. Like Dota 2 and League are both complex games and there are so many champions and different strategies with them. So much information!!!
