What's Up My Glib-Globs!!

So, just what have I been up to lately? Not much now that I think about it, but it's been more than a fortnight since I've posted a blog and I don't want to start slacking off.

Finally saw Muppets Most Wanted a few days ago, which I liked quite a bit. Honestly though, I don't think there's a Muppet movie that I've seen that I didn't like, so maybe I can't be viewed as being very objective on this particular matter. Up next on my list of movies to check out is Captain America: The Winter Soldier and a few other movies that escape my memory at the moment.

As far as reading goes, I was pressing the 'random' button on TVTropes (as I normally do when I'm feeling bored while surfing the 'net) when I stumbled across something interesting, namely the webcomic Girl Genius. I'm enjoying it so far, and while it's shaping up to be a long read (the comic started over a decade ago, after all), I don't think I'll be stopping any time soon (at least as long as my Internet holds up, that is). I've also been trying to finish up A Feast for Crows but I haven't found the time to due to other stuff coming up, which I hope changes so I can finally move on to the next book on my large backlog.

I haven't been playing much of anything lately. Since I don't yet have enough money to replace my TV yet my Wii is just collecting dust and aside from the random video or demo I haven't really picked up my 3DS in a while either. Thinking about picking up A Link Between Worlds at some point, though there's still a bunch of other games I want to pick up as well. Now really would be a good time for me to win the lottery.

I think I'll catch Most Wanted on DVD. The Winter Soldier was my favorite Bourne movie besides Ultimatum, though, I think you'll enjoy it.

Muppets are awesome! My love of Jim Henson is so deeply ingrained it would be difficult for me to hate anything Muppets related even if it was kind of bad. I still think Labyrinth and Dark Crystal was Henson at his very best though.

I really wanna see the Muppets but it will prolly wait till release on bluray. I dont go to the movie thater very often. Last movie I went and saw was I Frankenstien and it was really good. I hvent made a lot fo game purchaese myelf which is a shocker but then again Im trying to save up money. The one game I did buy this month was Realm Reborn and it might be my only buy except for maybe Daylight on the PS4 at the end of April. I still want the new 3DS Zelda title though, it shall have to wait a time more though.

My older sister used to be into the Muppets. I wasn't so much, but they're still pretty damned cool. Henson was a genius and they've done pretty well at keeping his magic alive even after he was gone. No amount of fancy CG can replicate that kind of wizardry. My favorite muppets are Gonzo and the two old guys on the balcony, Statler and Waldorf.

My favorite movie of all time is The Muppet Christmas Carol. The original Muppet Movie was the very first movie I remember seeing in a theater. Muppets were a HUGE part of my childhood.

Yay Muppets! Saw Captain America: The Winter Soldier last week and loved it. Depending on what else is playing on free resident's day at our local movie theater, I might even see it again.

I'm one fo the few who never got into the Muppets, don't know why.

Good to see you're almost done with Crows. I'm starting to hit a good stride with Swords, hopefully I can catch up with the TV show before this season ends.

with news of the new Zelda game sounds like a good time to pick up the 3DS title just to keep up with the series.
