This game looks dark, I dig it!

Hadn't heard about this project yet, curious if it will get more expensive with successive builds...

just got a desktop for 200 that runs Left 4 Dead 2 on max, Final Fantasy XIV on very high, Blacklight on max, Bioshock Infinite on medium, and Torchlight 2 on max. Teh master race - also even on low to mid. . .everything is so much crisper, jesus.

Good to hear. I played most of the way through Pandora Tomorrow, and maybe the first quarter or Chaos Theory. I dabbled in Double Agent which I thought was brilliant but havent played much since then. 

Definitely played a lot of Metal Gear, Tenchu, and Splinter Cell growing up. thinking about getting into something stealthy again.

I picked my new PC, which should run Conviction fine, I may have to look into this.

Mostly hip hop, and I make beats. 
It doesnt sound anything like top 40s though.
More ambient and a bit genreless.

I havent played splinter cell in ages! as a fan of the very first game, how would you say its evolved?

Started to get into DotA II, and Rogue Legacy. Also about to play Deus Ex for the first time. On console Im trying to finish Kingdoms of Amalur:Reckoning and Skyrim (as far as that is even possible) before I sell my 360 and upgrade to a PS3 or a more gaming oriented PC

I don't think you need to worry too much about Sony bringing 1st party support to its handheld. I think the ratio of first to third party playstation games is pretty high.

They have already proven they will be giving portable love from a lot of staples like: Uncharted, Metal Gear Solid, Katamari, Assassins Creed,  Bioshock, Dead or Alive, Street Fighter, Final Fantasy,  God of War, Gran turismo...etc.

Personally, I'm really excited that these huge companies are showing support for a more "homegrown" approach to development. A basement dev today could be working on a triple A title tomorrow.

And as far as the quality of indie games... you mentioned you didnt have fun with Gravity Rush, despite having plenty of polish. Hotline Miami is my personal contender for game of the year and featured distorted 16bit graphics made by a tiny team.

I've been considering a Vita, would you reccomend one and why? 

Used games and Steam sales.

However! If it is from developers that I reeally want to support (and I have the cash flow at the time) I will buy a new copy. Sometimes even two. Done this with Zelda:Twilight Princess, Hotline Miami, Skyrim, Bastion
