Excuse the terrible intro, I was just having a bit of fun.
Anyway, this'll be my only intentionally 3DS centric issue of the podcast, but of course I'll be covering things as time passes, just like normal.
PB AND JASON IN THRRREEEEEE DEEEEEEEEEEE!
In this week's issue of PB & Jason, I talk about the 3DS. That's it. My thoughts on the handheld's integrity, the games, augmented reality, and that's about it.
Not that there's anything wrong with that. First I go over the build of the console, and mention a few things I'd improve.
From there, we hit up the games featured in the 3DS's operating system, talking up Face Raiders, the Augmented Reality cards, and even Mii Plaza.
I take the podcast down the long road of basically reviewing three of the system's launch titles: Super Monkey Ball 3D, Super Street Fighter IV 3D Edition, and Combat of Giants: Dinosaurs 3D.
So, sit back, relax, and enjoy the 34th issue of PB & Jason.
No Nintendogs were harmed in the making of this podcast
It’s been a long time since we’ve seen an entry in the Metroid Prime series - 18 years, in fact. It was 8 years ago that Metroid Prime 4 was originally announced and its development was more than a little turbulent. Initially developed by Bandai Namco, it was later scrapped completely and development was shifted back to Retro Studios to start the project over. In the end, Retro has delivered a solid new entry in the series, but one that doesn’t totally capture what originally made the series so compelling.
