Minecraft Coming Exclusively to Xbox 360

The game will feature Kinect functionality.

Only briefly mentioned during Microsoft's press conference today, Minecraft, the popular PC game will be coming exclusively to the Xbox 360 this winter. The game will feature Kinect functionality, but what specifically players can do with the peripheral is still unknown.

Minecraft, for the unfamiliar, is a game based primarily on building objects with blocks in a randomly generated landscape. There is a strong community focus, allowing players to work together to create impressive structures in a 3D world.
