Duke Nukem Forever DLC Arrives Next Week

Titled, Hail to the Icons, the DLC adds new multiplayer modes and maps.

Gearbox will be releasing DLC for their latest and controversial shooter, Duke Nukem Forever. Releasing next week, on October 11, Gearbox community manager, Chris Faylor, revealed that those in the First Access Club will receive the DLC for free. Everyone else will need to pay the $10 or 800 Microsoft Point entry fee if they intend to experience the latest for the King.

The DLC adds three new multiplayer modes: Freeze Tag, Hail to the King, and Hot Potato, in which you hold on to a "babe" for as long as you can. It also offers four new maps, which will lampoon other first person shooter titles.

Alongside the DLC, a new patch is being released that will feature "support for the new content along with various optimizations and bug fixes."
