Nintendo Press Conference To Be Streamed Tonight

The Big N will stream their Press Conference tonight.

Another Nintendo Direct press conference is being held tonight and Nintendo will be streaming it for all to see.

The conference is actually tomorrow at noon but because it's in Japan, it'll be 10pm EST / 7pm PST here in America. If you'd like to see it, go to the Nintendo Direct Ustream page during the appropriate time. Satoru Iwata will host the event and it is expected that NOA head Reggie Fils-Aime will give an update shortly after it's over.

Nintendo hosted a similar press conference back in October, which was when the recently released 3DS firmware update was revealed along with some game release dates.

If you didn't watch, basically they gave out the release dates of a few key 3DS titles in Japan (all coming within Q1 2012) and they showed off Kiki Trick. It was a big waste of time.

Yeah, this was just to show stockholders what is coming out in quarter one. There was some nice footage of Bravely Default thought - that game should be on everyone's radar.

It was boring in general, other than the Fire Emblem game, and Bravely Default.

Yup, along with the announcement that Fire Emblem will be the first Nintendo first party title to make use of DLC. I'm curious to see how that works out.

And that Kiki Trick trailer was pretty fun.

I saw a few clips with Iwata playing Kiki Trick, and while I thought elements of it looked amusing, I'm not really sold on it.

To be clear, Fire Emblem will be the first Nintendo-published title with paid DLC. A few other games, such as Super Smash Brothers Brawl and Animal Crossing City Folk, technically have DLC, but it's available for free.
