New Ni No Kuni Media and Details

TGS goers get hands-on time with the title as well as a sneak peek at some new screenshots.

The Another World, better known as Ni no Kuni, is an upcoming RPG currently in development by Professor Layton developers, Level-5. Also aiding them in the process is the anime company Studio Ghibli, who many anime fans will know for their work on animating films directed by Hayao Miyazaki (Princess Mononoke, Kiki’s Delivery Service, Spirited Away).

Watchmen Coming to LittleBigPlanet

Transform Sackboy into one of four Watchmen characters.

The creative minds over at Mediamolecule recently announced that their latest skins coming soon to LittleBigPlanet will be Watchmen themed. The skins themselves are based on the costume concepts from the recent movie adaptation, more-so than the DC comics themselves. Players will be able to assume the roles of four popular Watchmen characters: Rorschach, The Nite Owl II, The Silk Spectre II, and Ozymandias.

Another Code: R - A Journey into Lost Memories Review

Is this book game really worth a North American release?

Back in 2005, Nintendo released a game called Another Code: Two Memories otherwise known as Trace Memory in America. The game followed the story of Ashley Mizuki Robbins, a Japanese American teenager whose scientist parents vanished when she was just a child. One day Ashley received a letter from her father, Richard Robbins, whom she presumed dead. The letter explained that he was indeed alive and waiting for her on Blood Edward Island. Ashley traveled to the island and while searching for her father befriends the spirit of a deceased young boy known only as “D”. Through a series of events, Ashley helps D unlock his past all the while allowing her to learn the dark secrets of her family’s past, including the truth about her mother’s murder.

New Dragon Quest Wars Details Released

Square releases a sneak peek of the upcoming DSiWare's monster list.

Dragon Quest Wars is an upcoming DSiWare title from Square. Players must choose a team consisting of up to four monsters at one time to take into battle with them. Every battle is different, so players must carefully select each monster according to their strengths in order to be most effective in a particular match. A battle is won when players either defeat all of their enemies or set foot in enemy territory.

PixlBit Talks Ju-On: The Grudge with XSEED

Jimmy Soga tells us what a Haunted House Simulator is, what players will do, and why Ju-On Director Shimizu was an integral part of development.

XSEED's upcoming title Ju-On: The Grudge, is a haunted house simulator based in the same universe as the Ju-On movies. In fact, the creator of the Ju-On movies, Takashi Shimizu, was on hand throughout development of the game in order to assist with making the game scary and canonical. PixlBit had the opportunity to talk with Jimmy Soga of XSEED about their upcoming title Ju-On: The Grudge. Ju-On: The Grudge will release on October 13 in North America.
