Prince of Persia and Splinter Cell Trilogies to Receive HD Updates

While Prince of Persia was known to be releasing in Europe, it's now confirmed for release in America.

Yesterday, Ubisoft CEO, Yves Guillemot, confirmed that Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time, Warrior Within, and The Two Thrones would be seeing release in America on the PlayStation Network in HD. This comes after the titles were recently announced for release in Europe on a single Blu-Ray disc.

DJ Hero 2 Review

Freestyle abilities, control improvements, and a better soundtrack cement DJ Hero 2 as a must-have rhythm game experience.

Last year when I first went hands-on with DJ Hero, I walked away impressed with what I had experienced. While there were still some small issues, overall the game was an enjoyable, fresh experience that did a great job differentiating itself from its brethren series, Guitar Hero. Apparently the series was successful enough for Activision because it is back for a second round, and this time it has fixed a number of issues and incorporated a more impressive soundtrack along with some brand new moves.

Vanquish Review

It's frantic and fast-paced, but requires you to appreciate replay value.

Since the inception of Platinum Games, they have done a great job of taking a specific genre and making it completely over-the-top and intense. MadWorld, Bayonetta, and now Vanquish, are all great examples of this. In the case of Vanquish, players are presented with what can best be described as a third-person shooter on steroids. The action is fast-paced and intense, the control fluid, and the strategy layered and complex. What's most impressive about Vanquish is that it manages to merge the concepts of a modern third-person shooter with the classic appeal of an arcade title.
