Hiya everyone, raise up your volume (do it) because today is the final anime post of BaD. I will post about the final season of Initial D rightfully called Initial D: Final Stage

 

Final Stage takes place from where Fifth Stage left off and Takumi faces his greatest and most difficult challenge yet: A year 15 old kid named Shinji Inui who also drives the same car as Takumi. Who's driving technique could rival even Takumi's racing technique. Shinji could in fact be a racing prodigy due to his amazing knowledge of the track they are racing on as well as his ability to control his car. You could say it's his home course, such as Takumi's home course is Mt. Akina.

The race is probably the most intense race yet and Takumi definitely feels the pressure as Shinji manages to surprise Takumi with his great racing ability. However Takumi has tricks of his own too and does everything he can to keep up and surprise Shinji too. It would seem that both are evenly matched.

The race is 4 episodes long, and probably the shortest season I've ever seen in any media. The music is just amazing, it brings older tracks from the previous stages as well as some new ones. Even the ending theme is just amazing and great fan service to fans. As for the actual ending, it's very sad how it ends but a fitting ending to the series.

Saved the best for last. Was really sad how it ended, that I shed a tear. It's a great finish to a great series. Sucks the isn't a dub but glad I was able to finally finish the series. Been such a ride all these years.
