I was able to recite 4 out of 6 of these songs in my head without needing the YouTube videos. Score!
I love all of those songs though, great picks man!

It's been awhile since I've done an AVGT. I've had too much going on. I still have too much going on, but I decided to do one anyways. I LOVE boss themes! I enjoy all kinds of boss themes, whether they're epic, creepy, hardcore, orchestral, catchy, or just plain awesome. Now there are TONS of great boss themes, so I chose just six of my favorites (which was difficult, believe me). Let me know what you think, and as always, let us know what your favorite boss themes are, even if they go way back to the NES days. Please note that these are just generic boss themes; I'll probably do another post on final boss themes in the future.
Fight 2 from Final Fantasy IV/Composed by Nobou Uematsu
This is one of my favorite boss themes because it's so exciting and catchy. This song gets stuck in my head all the time! It's just fun to listen to. The trumpets and strings battle for your attention throughout the song, keeping things fresh and exhilerating. Classic boss bgm right here, and you can always count on Uematsu to pull it off.
Boss Theme from Mighty Morphin Power Rangers/Composed by Iku Mizutani and Kinuyo Yamashita
This is one of my favorite games; you can read my review of it here. The boss music in the game is great! It's a reworked version of the Power Rangers theme song, and it is very cool. It loops pretty quick, but you never tire of hearing it. It makes fighting the boss enjoyable as you hear that great theme (let's admit it, the PR theme song was pretty awesome, especially compared with all the other PR series' theme songs, which were AWFUL!).
Cursed Pamela from Klonoa/Composed by ?
I actually couldn't find out who the composer was for this; if anyone knows, let us know who it is (of course, we probably won't recognize his name). Anyways, Klonoa is a great game. I was able to play the Wii remake of it, and it's awesome! This song is majestic and beautiful; it plays as you fight a friend who's turned bad. It evokes hope and despair at the same time. Fantastic boss theme!
Boss Battle 1 from Sparkster/Composed by Kazuhiko Uehara, Masahiro Ikariko, Minako Matsuhira, Michiru Yamane, and Akira Yamaoka
Sparkster is an all-around great game (I hope to review it sometime), and the music really stands out. This boss theme gives off a great feeling of tension as you zip around and attack the boss. It sounds like it could almost fit into a movie. The music in Sparkster pops out at you (that's the best way I can explain it); it really helps in making the game exciting, and the boss music does just that.
The Decisive Battle from Final Fantasy VI/Composed by Nobou Uematsu
No one would argue that FF6 is a great game. It's an amazing game! To top it off, it has one of the best soundtracks of any game, in my opinion, the best FF soundtrack ever. The boss theme has always been one of my faves. The organ is awesome as it runs all over the place; then the strings come in and evoke a feeling of hope, but the overall feel is one of great danger and action. This is another one you never get tired of hearing.
Middle Boss Battle from Grandia 2/Composed by Noriyuki Iwadare
I love Iwadare's music. His style is one of pumping, bouncing, catchy tunes. Here we have a boss theme that keeps you on your toes; you don't know what it's going to do next, but you know it's gonna be awesome. This song is exciting and fun. The constant beat in the background keeps everything moving along.
The recent Retronauts podcast was all about Prog Rock music and ended up mentioning the Final Fantasy VI final boss theme which sounds a lot like an Emerson, Lake and Palmer tune. My recent fav is Blue Dragon's boss theme "Eternity" that features Ian Gillian of Deep Purple. It sounds very close to a classic Deep Purple song. I need to play all the games you mentioned.
