Phoenix Wright 5 is Here!

I found out just the other day that Phoenix Wright: Dual Destinies is now available on the Nintendo 3DS eshop for $29.99. It's been 5 years since we've had a real PW game, and that was Apollo Justice. I am super excited because I'm a huge fan of the series; incredible stories!

I saw a video review of the game on IGN, and of course, they were down on the fact that 90% of the game is pressing A because there's so much text, and the game is very linear. Um, that's how all the PW games are. You play these games for the characters and story, and in that department, this game shines. I haven't played it yet, but I intend to buy it before the end of the week (I have to finish another game first).

Please, if you own a 3DS, buy this game and support the series! The overall look has been overhauled and I heard that the game is stunning in 3D. Unless you hate this kind of game, buy it because, y'know, it's gonna have killer stories. I'm just so giddy because I've been waiting for another PW game, and it's finally here! Hope you'll give it a shot.

I think people play PW for the story,characters, and plot revelations. There's nothing wrong with the visual novel format so imma gonna disagree with IGN!

Yeah I'm excited about it, too. I even wrote a blog recently about Phoenix Wright (you should check it out if you haven't already). I haven't got the game yet, though, but I will soon!

I'll get this sooner or later (sooner, I hope) but $30 for a digital release still hurts. I wish Capcom would let us, like, special order physical copies. I'd pay more to hold it in my hands. Still, I'm glad we're getting it all.

True, physical copy would be great, but I'm just stoked we finally get another PW game! $30, yeah, but remember this is a 25 hour game, full with probably 3 or 4 episodes (and opening anime cutscenes!), so the price is worth it.
