I have quite a few PSN games plus being a PLUS member and getting free games like Saints Row 3 I have an endless supply of games I will never finish.
Return to The BaDlands #2 - I'm Never Going to Finish All My Steam Games

There are over 100 games in my Steam Library right now.
There are only a few games I've spent more than $20 on; the vast majority have been purchased for $15 or less. There are games that were sold by the dozen in crazy sales; I have pretty much every Sonic game available on PC because I got them all for $15. There are the Humble Bundle games, where paying above average (usually $5-6) gives you 5 or more games at a time. Then there's the stuff on my watchlist, which I'm ready to pounce on during the sharp discounts during seasonal sales.
I've probably only finished about 20% of the stuff in the list, if that. There are several games that came in bundles that are vestigial--where I just bought the bundles for one game and simply installed the others because why not? There's stuff in there that I don't even remember buying; for all I know, Gabe just slips random stuff into our backlogs just to fuck with us. It's a far cry from how I approached console gaming, where I had to really sit down and think about whether or not even used games were worth buying. Despite this, I keep picking up more and more stuff, as the cheap prices make it easy to justify the impulse.
And honestly? It really doesn't bother me that much.
Fact is, there were plenty of games I bought on consoles that I never finished either. And those would simply end up being traded in or sold off to fund more game purchases. If PSN had Steam-like sales from the beginning, I'm sure my backlog would've been just as bad--in fact, there are a bunch of PS+ games on my Vita I haven't gotten around to yet. Plus I like having all these games around, as it gives me plenty of readily available options to try new things when I'm up for it.
How big is your digital backlog? Do you think you'll ever be able to hack through it all? Let me know in the comments.
