It's dangerous to go alone, here read this...

 

Last year Sega treated Wii U and Sonic Lost World players with this free piece of dlc:

Which was pretty neat, since this is as close we'll see Sonic in Nintendo platformer. But then Sega released this as part of it's second free dlc:

                             No this isn't fanart, it's real. Sonic is in Hyrule...

                                                  Sonic Opening a treasure chest...

                                                        He got a Heart Container...

                             It was dangerous to go alone, so he brought Link...

                       Now Sonic can maybe take down Eggman once and for all...

I never would of thought that Sega would make this, what's even more cool is that Nintendo even allowed Sega to make this considering Ninty guards the Zelda series with an iron fist. But here is what I think, this is the first we've ever seen Hyrule in HD and it's such a gorgeous representation of it. It's giving us a taste of what we can expect from a Wii U Zelda title. The dlc isn't really long, and you really can't explore all of Hyrule, but it gives you a sense of what Nintendo might do. It has a small open world like section and a dungeon of sorts with enemies. Like I said it's short but it's really awesome for free dlc It's such a tease that I can't wait to try Zelda Wii U soon.
