The greatest Smasher of them all

A long time ago, I remember mentioning (at least at 1up) that I was attempting a match goal in Super Smash Bros. Brawl. I managed to meet that goal a week before Super Smash Bros. 3DS. I meant to post it sooner but I was having way too much fun with the newest installment of my favorite fighting game franchise. But here you go, my ultimate goal for SSBB:

 10,000 SSB Matches

Actually I had an older Wii a long time ago and had 5,000 matches but it broke so I had to start from scratch, so I would of had 15,000 matches in total but I think that no longer counts. But I now have proof at 10,000 matches atleast! It took a while to get that, I never really looked at my match count until last year when I was at around 7,000 matches. My older Wii broke down in 2008 so I got a replacement later that year. So since late 2008 I've been at it. I looked at my match total sometime last year and wondered if I could get 10,000 before the new one hits. I finally met my goal with the game and I'm really proud.

SSB

Sure it's just a number but that's alot of Smashing. Speaking of Smashing, I have some not so great news:

 Broken 3DS

Just my luck, my 3DS Circle Pad snapped off one day before SSB 3DS. I didn't know what to think, I actually felt really really sad, but incredibly frustrated. It's almost impossible to play the game since the stub that's left get's stuck to the left and right so dashing isn't an option, nor side smash attacks. It's also nearly impossible to get back to the stage when thrown off since I can't do much moving to the side. Up and down smash moves work fine but the down position is starting to get stuck. If only they've allowed you to use the D-Pad then I would of held off till the New 3DS arrives here.

I have contacted Nintendo but they can't tell me how much it'll cost me but from what I've read, it looks like I'm looking at around or over 100 bucks for repairs. That's alot of money. I would opt for a used one but I don't like buying used because I don't know if that 3DS will be in working condition or not, plus I don't know where it's been. That and my battery looks like it's losing it's charge too. I leave it charging all the way and then it gives me around 4-5 minutes of battery life. I don't know if SSB uses too much power that causes the battery to drain faster or if my 3DS needs a replacement, so that's something else I'll have to mention. That and Nintendo doesn't have any replacement batteries in stock as of this blog. My 3DS is an expensive paperweight right now and I don't want to use it cause the battery actually is bulging out of the back plate of the 3DS. I might not get Pokemon ORAS because I'm afraid the thing might blow up in my hands. I might do the Toys R Us deal instead though to see if I get a battery by then.

So that's all in this Smash-related update. What do you think of SSB on the 3DS? Anyone have any advice for me on my 3DS? Smash Bros. on the Wii U releases in a few hours in some areas and I can't wait. Thanks for reading and smash on.
