Celebrating 25 years of being alive

Well not really a 25th anniversary, but it's rather my 25th birthday. I'm going to be 25 this year, on April 2 and I thought, why not do something special for that? The thing is that I didn't know what to do for it, then it hit me: why not do a top games list? But here's the thing, I don't really like doing top games lists. I did do some back at 1up, but those were my top game on the Wii, Gamecube, top Playstation and Xbox games that should be on Nintendo hardware and so forth. I'm lying about that last one but you get the general picture. A reason that I don't really like doing these is because I like alot of the games I play, if I make a list then I feel like I left something out if I had to decide on 10 games only.

So you're asking, "if you hate making top games lists, then why are you making one?" Well fictional anonymous user, it's because I know I would have to do it at some point, and instead of a looking back at stuff blog, I thought why not? It wont be a normal blog though because I decide to post, wait for it...

Yes, Captain N's 25 Favorite Nintendo Games! This wont be a top 25 games of all time or favorite overall games, because of the reason of leaving something out. Or however you want to interprit it, I don't care. I bet you're wondering how is this going to work right? Well, I've been playing Nintendo games since I was 2 years old, all the way up to now, and I have enjoyed and had fun with every game that I got to try. So what I'm going to do is post my 25 favorite games from all those years of playing Nintendo games. I'm going to try and be diverse as possible with my list of games, the key word being try.

Here are the rules about this:

Only games made by Nintendo will make the list. Nothing like games that have appeared on Nintendo consoles, so nothing like Sonic, Mega Man, or Halo. I'm joking on Halo but there almost was a Halo game on the DS. Only games made or published by Nintendo, and when I mean made or published, I mean games like Wii Sports or Kirby. It could be a game made internally at Nintendo, or outside Nintendo like a studio owned by them.

Remakes. Remakes will be on the list as long as they improved on the original game in one form or the other, or in every way possible.

I'll be posting one of these blogs for 25 days, one every day, with breaks on Saturday and Sunday leading up to the last one on April 2. I could of started this sooner to have a better format but alot of stuff got in the way and also not enough time to write them. I've been working on them for a while, some are ready but I was just waiting to make an announcement.

 Also, I was originally going to have a title card, or piece or art to accompany the posts, but due to time, I may or may not have them. I'll try, but I think the remaining 10 will most likely have them. Should I not have them in the other blogs, I'll post a separate blog with the unused art.

Also, hopefully it'll be alright if I can tag them as a user feature, if that's alright with any of the Pixlbit higher-ups. Wish I had something to tag them as part of a series.

Also, for now my Top 10 DS games have been postponed for now. I'll still post them, just not now because I don't want to have too many top games list stuff. 

And that's about it, I've been working on them for a long time now, so hopefully they're up to snuff.  Also, final call if you want to submit a question for my Q/A thing which will be the final blog for BaD, so if you have a question to ask, do so since you have till the end of friday.
