 Select a Portable Stage

I bet you thought I'd forgotten about the 3DS version huh? The 3DS version is unique in it's own way that's the first portable entry in the series. It's the one advantage it has over it's HD counterpart, and for alot of people that is be a big advantage cause Smash on the go. The 3DS version of Smash is almost identical to the Wii U version, minus different stages and Smash Run. It has some pretty neat exclusive stages too. Here are my favorites:

 Pac-Maze/Wily's Castle

Dr. Wily's CastlePac-Maze

Couldn't choose between these 2 so I grouped them here. Wily's Castle is the same as before so there's no need to say any more on it, or I'm not too sure since I didn't play much since my 3DS is broken. Someone correct me on it if I'm wrong. Pac-Maze is a Pac-man maze with Pac-Dot's, fruit and ghosts included. Collect enough Pac-Dot and you get a Power Pellet an it powers you up which is neat. But be careful because your opponents can do the same thing too.

Reset Bomb Forest

This stage is based on one of the levels in Kid Icarus: Uprising. What's neat is that Viridi shows up in the background and the level changes. It's pretty cool.

Unova Pokemon League/Prism Tower

 Unova Pokemon LeaguePrism Tower

Couldn't choose between these 2 because it's Pokemon. You have the Unova Pokemon League here and Pokemon also make an appearance too, just be careful because they are also stage hazards. Prism Tower is a tour of Lumiose City from X/Y. It's pretty neat and offers a different perspective on the city that the games don't have.

Rainbow Road

Rainbow RoadRainbow Road

Rainbow Road from Mario Kart 7. It's neat because it takes you to different sections of the actual course, almost like the Halberd stage. Just watch out for Shy Guys.

Dream Land/Mute City

Mute CityDream Land

These stages are similar in some ways which is why they are both here. It's neat that you go through sections of the original Kirby game. It's neat, and there's even a way to change the background color too. Mute City takes you through a race of the original F-Zero game on top of the Blue Falcon. You can also ride on top of other machinhes, but be careful because they leave.

Gaur Plain

                          Gaur Plain

This is the same as the Wii U version's Gaur Plain, except that Metal Face isn't a stage boss. It's also a reminder that we're getting a portable Xenoblade. The only flaw this stage has, and I think it's common knowledge, is that sometimes it zooms out too much in a fight that it could be hard to keep track of what's going on since the characters look too small. Other than that's, it's almost identical to the Wii U one, give or take a few platforms.

Spirit Train/Gerudo Valley

Gerudo ValleySpirit Train

This one I couldn't choose, so here are both. The Gerudo Valley one is pretty cool and the new version of the song is awesome. Spirit Train is just as cool and it's not always the same. The train cars might be different and if you're using Toon Link, Alfonzo may be the driver of the train. Cary was right on the money with this one.

Golden Plains/3D Land

Golden Plains3D Land

Couldn't Choose between these 2. Golden Plains is a stage from New Super Mario Bros. 2, and if you collect 100 coins, you turn golden and your stats get a boost for a while. 3D Land is cool since you go through different levels of the game with a pretty sweet dynamic camera. Just be careful because there are stage hazards here too.

So that's all of them, what are your favorite SSB 3DS stages? Thanks for reading and later.

A lot of these are more interesting to me than the Wii U stages.

I liked the Pac-Man stage because it reflects the feel of the original game.  You eat dots and fruit and go for power pellets.  The 16-bit F-Zero stage is neat, and I'm glad Nintendo used my Spirit Tracks train stage idea.  I like the coin Mario stage as well.

Damn! These stages look amazing. I don't play fighting games much, but I thinking about it now.
