This game is just like a ninja: typical at first, then suddenly deadly (I mean fun!). It just gets me that even cute ninjas can be extremely deadly. Looks like a fun game; what a shame you have to trudge through a couple levels for it to get good though.
Well I'm sure you'll atleast make it to level 6 (that's when the game starts to become insane).
You're right, the controls were tight and the graphics were very awesome. Also, the music is super cool (Whirlwind song is incredible!).
Wow, the lengths you went for this game are impressive! I'm not sure if it's the best game ever, but it is definitely one of the best, and I highly doubt it will ever be surpassed as the best FF game.
FFVI was also very influential on me when I was just a kid. Me and my older brothers found a copy of it for $80, and after reading all the hype about it from Nintendo Power, we begged our dad to get for us, which he did. I remember watching as my oldest brother played through the game; we were all so impressed by everything! It remains to be my favorite RPG ever, although I've never beaten it. I've been wanting to play it again, and thanks to you, I might have to do that sooner than I thought.

Hm, manga in Japan, game in America. . . what were they thinking? Well, the reason the NES game wasn't that good is probably because it wasn't a direct port to the awesome Ninjatastic arcade game!
Wow, amazing and sad story all in one. The SNES is the best system of all time. It has more of the "best games of all time" than any other system. Definitely outclassed Sega and the Genesis (which was a vailant effort for sure). It's my favorite system, and I will never part with it (well, maybe over my dead body).
