That first boss in rogue legacy is a bit of a pain and probably the 2nd hardest of the normal bosses. just wait til you finish and unlock the "neo" bosses haha. they are the same bosses with twists, more spikes, shoot more/faster. it also load you with a set class and skills and when you die you spawn out side of the room. also, there is a boss that fights like asteroids haha. the only thing keeping me from getting the platinum is the win with 15 or less heirs and i never even attempted it.

i tried to go back and play my 360 and cant do it haha. the downgrade in visuals gets to me. id rather go and play a nes or snes before last gen.

I just started The Evil Within. Its good. Playing it on the hardest stock difficulty and its not hard at all. People have been saying its a lot like RE4 which i never played due to never ownign the game cube. Its good so far after playing only a few chapters. It kinda feels like SH in a way. I think you may get that feeling too if/when you play, i dont want to spoil anything. Definitely pick it up.

After hearing you talk about diablo 3 last podcast i had to add you guys. The social features are great. Still havent had a Legandy for your psn yet. For some reason i keep getting drops for the saem few people, its a bit annoying. As for the leveling i always have a socketed helm with a red gem. The version i use increases xp by 37% i think. Also, play with people. Even if its random. The xp gain is multiplicative as well adding not 10% flat per player, but 10% of the xp boost you already have. so if you play on master, 300% with 4 people it give and extra 90% and not 30%. More players, more XP, More monster slaying. i have also found out that most of the players in public are friendly. Some with mics, some with out. Public is definitly the way to go if you want to level up.

After switching from xbox (i briefly owned a xbone) to ps4 this gen i lost all of my friends list sadly. Although i dont regret it i do lack steady co-op partners for soem games. The Division i am highly looking forward to so hopefully it is do-able solo, or with pugs. I just tried teh Destiny alpha and did the first mission solo too. So things are capable. I dont know if this is the place to ask but you can add me on psn, antmoney151 for future co-ops.

Pretty sure Diablo 3 charaters wont trasnfer to console as they didnt transfer when the released it on ps3/360. The game is WAY more fun on console too. I cant wait for it on PS4. I like it on pc. Loved it on 360. Im sure ill love it much more on ps4 with all the changes. Ill be holding out on the new content until it does.  Also the big reason the loot is easier to obtain is that the loot dropped is catered to your character. Stats and item types.

Oh the nostalgia

Its funny you mentioned GTA5. Everyone i know is crazy about it. I even have a buddy that works at rockstar and was talking it up for months prior to release. Yet i still didnt feel the hype everyone else did. Even a friend play it at his place and it looked boring. I just dont get it haha.

AC4 should be much less than 60 hours unless your goin for that platinum thanks to the tedious multiplayer.

I know the jaded feeling. After my 360 being my primary way of gaming for the last 4-5 years only goin to pc for a few games (hearthstone recently and Diablo 3, which i got on console and was way better, GW2 and Path of Exile) i have been overwhelmed with too many fps's. I played many games (from ff13, to the silent hills, assassins creeds, cods, bf's, re's) but was always missing soemthing.Ive seen it all before. I just got a 3ds a couple weeks ago and i am getting what i have been missing from gameing, rpgs! Those were my orginal roots in gaming next to survial horrors (ty capcom). My first buy was Rune Factory 4 and although combat isn't old schooly, the leveling and crafting is filling the void that was missing. im loving it. Im actually happy i got the 3ds late in the game because now i also have a giant back log of games to select from too whcih is awesome. My next purchases will be youre GOTY Julian, as well as Bravely Default when it comes out.

Also, what was the 60 hour game you mentioned, Were you refering to AC4?
