2013 is shaping up to be a ruckus of a gaming year.
Joining an ever growing list of highly anticipated games, Ninja Theory’s take on the Devil May Cry franchise, DmC, won’t be making it to consoles this year. The controversial title will still be making appearance at this year’s E3 (just a mere two weeks away now), but won’t be out to retail until January 15, 2013.

Who ever thought that haircuts would come to the forefront of a video game discussion podcast? I certainly didn't, but I guess there is a first time for everything. This week is all about Capcom which means fan backlash, zombies, and emo-kids are all up for discussion and that's only the first 15 minutes. Hope you all enjoy and make sure to contact us at PixlTalk@Pixlbit.com with questions, comments, or suggestions you have for future episodes.
Heavenly may not be the right word, but it's still a hell of a good time.
Apparently the eponymous Heavenly Sword is a highly prized weapon. It is said to be a sword forged and used by gods, a theory that has resulted in the rampant bloodshed and chaos that has spread across the land. Chief among the pursuers is the evil King Bohan, an oddly charismatic megalomaniac voiced by the very talented Andy Serkis. Bohan has destroyed the lives of countless people in his quest for the sword and he has now turned to the last remaining clan not under his rule – the keepers of the Heavenly Sword itself – Nariko’s people.

Enslaved: Odyssey to the West is something that will stick with me for a long time – it’s one of those amazing games that went past the sometimes gltichy gameplay, delivering to the player a story full of emotion and drama. The main protagonists, Monkey and Trip, each performed with such depth and character that you could easily imagine them being real people; well, real people in a post-apocalyptic future full of murdering robots.
Enslaved: Odyssey to the West is a game with a simple story premise, odd technical issues and lots of repetitive gameplay. But it is also one of the most visually striking, well-acted and memorable games I have ever played.
It is a rare occurrence these days to come across a game that truly feels unique, and while Enslaved: Odyssey to the West definitely borrows from other games that have come before it; I feel it is safe to say Ninja Theory has definitely made something original.
Titled DmC, the game will feature a young Dante and will see release in 2011
