Marvelous Changes Strategy for Western Markets

Due to weaker overall sales, Marvelous will only license titles to Western Publishers in overseas markets.

After weaker than expected sales and uncertain market conditions, Marvelous Entertainment has modified their plans to distribute their titles in western markets. Going forward, Marvelous Entertainment will only license their games to other publishers overseas.

Ubisoft Not Publishing No More Heroes: Heroes' Paradise in North America

The company confirmed that it has no plans of publishing the PS3 and Xbox 360 port of No More Heroes.

Ubisoft, the US publisher of the No More Heroes games has confirmed to G4 that they currently have no plans to publish the recently announced No More Heroes: Heroes' Paradise for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. No More Heroes: Heroes' Paradise is a port of the original No More Heroes which was released on Wii in 2008.

Trust me, 30 seconds is all you need... to fall in love with this game.

Half-Minute Hero is one of the more abstract and crazier titles to come out of Japan as of late. The game features numerous types of gameplay, but all are based around a single underlying concept: time. Within each of the game's four modes, players are given a total of 30 seconds to complete the objective at hand. Accompanying the unique gameplay is an equally original presentation comprised of highly pixelated sprites and 8-bit backdrops. The title as a whole is simply unlike anything before it.
