Top Ten Skyrim Mods

These just might be what you need to avoid … an arrow to the knee!

6. Realistic Lighting

Very rarely do I find myself getting caught up in the vanity of a game’s graphics. However, with Skyrim being as beautiful as it is, I can’t help but gawk. Realistic Lighting is the perfect addition for anyone who’s looking to implement that extra flair into Skyrim. The added effects create an even greater level of realism and immersion that will have you gleefully staring off into a sunset.

5. Sounds of Skyrim – The Dungeons

If you think crawling through dark corridors and dungeons is suspenseful now, wait till you try out Sounds of Skyrim – The Dungeons. This mod looks to enhance the experience by adding new sound effects. Everything from dripping water, to distant Falmer screams have been added to create an experience that feels eerily lifelike.

Seriously cool list though.  When I end up picking up this game, I may grab the PC version instead of Xbox.  Mods are one of the best things about Elder Scrolls games.

Well, one requires you to have knowledge of the 80's WWF scene, where as mudcrabs in top hats is something everyone can enjoy, so I can see why you picked them.  Still, hearing "ooooh it's comin!" before a dragon attack never gets old.

I'm almost positive I'm getting Skyrim on the PC because of that Randy Savage mod. I already have Oblivion on PC so why not?

Metroid Prime 4: Beyond Review

It’s been a long time since we’ve seen an entry in the Metroid Prime series - 18 years, in fact. It was 8 years ago that Metroid Prime 4 was originally announced and its development was more than a little turbulent. Initially developed by Bandai Namco, it was later scrapped completely and development was shifted back to Retro Studios to start the project over. In the end, Retro has delivered a solid new entry in the series, but one that doesn’t totally capture what originally made the series so compelling.
