Who Would Win?

Chameleon's Chaos

Welcome back to the second installment of Who Would Win!

Last week we featured a brutal brawl between a Handyman and a Big Daddy, with Big Daddy seeming to take a majority of the votes. This week, however, we will be showcasing two unique individuals who specialize in different forms of stealth-related combat. In one corner we have Sam Fisher who is extremely proficient with numerous weapons as well hand-to-hand combat, with shadows and light being his own personal form of camouflage. In the other corner is the deadly Agent 47 who is also incredibly talented with many firearms and uses clothing and costumes to blend into any environment.

As per the norm, the entrants will take to combat in three different arenas - one is a neutral ground, while the other two favor one of the two opponents. Any weapon goes, but remember that stealth is important in this particular matchup, so don’t expect either combatant to willingly kill civilians with the sole intention of ‘weeding out the enemy’. Now it’s time to decide; Who Will Win!?

Essential Rules

How?

Three rounds, winner of two takes the overall victory.

Who?

Agent 47 vs Sam Fisher

Where?

Round 1: Abandoned carnival at dusk, advantage for Sam Fisher

Round 2: Same carnival, only fairly well-lit with plenty of people and disguises giving Agent 47 an advantage.

Round 3: A five story apartment complex with plenty of shadows and disguises to conceal each combatant, equal advantage to both Sam and Agent 47.

Abilities allowed in battle?

Any weapon can be used at any given point in time, but stealth is an absolute necessity.

Fisher takes rounds 1 and 3, Agent 47 takes round 2. Fisher wins in those two scenarios, and wins the competition overall, because he can sneak in the shadows out of sight, studying all the characters around the world until he deduces which one is Agent 47 in a disguise. Then breaks his neck.

This is how I think that it would probably play out.

Yeah I vote Sam Fisher stealth style, but if it's machine guns, Agent 47 wins.

My joke answer would be Solid Snake.  He would sneak his way into this match up and take down both Agent 47 and Sam Fisher.

I'd have to go with Agent 47 and Sam Fisher finding each other, but Fisher snaps 47's neck.

47 would decimate Sam Fisher.

Sam Fisher. He has the right to use the fifth freedom while Agent 47 is just an overglorifed assassin. Don't get me wrong I'm a fan of Agen 47 but Sam Fisher is Sam Fisher.

Blaster Master Review Rewind

My earliest years in gaming was a magical time. Every new game I discovered pioneered a fresh mechanic I hadn’t seen before. I'll never forget the moment when my brother's best friend came over with his NES games to show off Blaster Master. I marveled as the story elements unfolded while melancholic music played in the attract mode. Pressing the start button then transitioned me to the opening shot of an armored vehicle speeding off while the triumphant music swelled to a crescendo as I journeyed into the unknown. Never had I witnessed anything like that at the time. While everything I just described is nothing spectacular these days, Blaster Master still has a few gameplay elements that still hold up quite nicely.
