Epic Reveals Fortnite
Epic's new game is a radical departure with notes of Minecraft.
Cliffy B., from Epic Games, said that they were working on something radically different and at this year’s Spike TV Video Game Awards we got to see exactly what he meant by that when Fortnite was revealed to the world.
With a cartoony graphical styling, Fortnite appears to indeed be a radical departure for a studio that is most associated with brown, dusty landscapes and photo-realistic graphics. The trailer doesn’t really give us that much information, but it appears that you’ll be controlling a group of characters as they fortify themselves against some kind of nightly zombie/monster mob – which will certainly welcome comparison to Minecraft.
