Lost Planet 2 Review

Giant enemies, mechs, and lush environments should spell success, right?

It seems third person shooters are simply unavoidable these days. Some of them feature hand-to-hand combat, others stealthy sneaking. Regardless of the hook, each one of them has that small differentiator that should distinguish it from the crowd. Lost Planet 2 is mostly devoid of anything that might set it apart from other third person shooters on the market. In concept, shooting really big enemies and piloting a mech is more than likely what Capcom was going for, but the execution doesn't do much to make the gameplay feel different or unique.

Lost Planet 2 Multiplayer Demo Available Today (Or Tomorrow)

After a slew of promotional limited demo releases, Capcom has finally made their Lost Planet 2 demo widely available.

Some may recall Capcom organized a few promotional releases for the Lost Planet 2 Demo focused on their Capcom Unity blog, but unfortunately, the download keys offered for the PSN and XBLA demo were first-come-first-serve in a limited fashion.

Capcom Reveals Massive News at Captivate 2010

Lost Planet 2 Multiplayer Demo

You'll find it sooner than you think.

The latest Lost Planet 2 demo will be available on April 21 for Xbox 360 and April 22 for PlayStation 3. If a little over three weeks seems too long for you to bear, fear not! You may be able to snag it sooner.

Capcom Delays Three Major Titles to the Next Fiscal Year

Monster Hunter, Street Fighter, and Lost Planet are all affected.

Capcom has recently released a new document which reveals both the sales forcast and release dates of Monster Hunter Tri (overseas), Super Street Fighter 4, and Lost Planet 2. The three titles will be delayed to the next fiscal year (April 1, 2010 - March 31, 2011). The delay was created to avoid competing against major titles from other publishers and to maximize potential sales.
