Angelo isn’t here this time, what with him going on Space Mountains and Splash Mountains and all sorts of Disney Mountains, so Patrick and Julian hold down the fort with some fun Consumption Junction topics. To help you cope with the encroaching demise of online Wii gaming, your PixlBit family is here to help you send the service off to its eternal existence before it all ends on May 20th. What better game to do this with than one of the few that had a significant online community: Mario Kart Wii. Join us on Thursday, May 15th starting at 9:00 p.m. EDT to play Mario Kart races until we puke blue shells. If all goes according to plan, we’ll also record the event so you can see how it played out from at least one other person’s perspective. To get in on the fun, just post your Mario Kart code in the comments and we’ll add it to a big list for everyone to tediously enter into their Wiis.
The zombie apocalypse sure is depressing. Who knew?
It was risky to take a popular known brand like the Walking Dead and create a unique and separate story within that universe, but the risk has paid off. The first two episodes have been great in their own right, but this third and latest episode entitled Long Road Ahead ups the ante not only when focusing on the action, but the emotion as well.
This bare-bones offroad racer isn't worth your dollars.
It’s hard to really leverage any complaints against Jeremy McGrath’s Offroad. It’s an inoffensive racer that’s pretty easy to pick up and play. For experienced racing fans it skews easy, but there are fleeting moments of joy while overtaking your seven opponents and dealing with the various tight turns, dips, and humps of the track. Most of the time, it’s a fairly mundane experience, requiring very little effort or struggle to win.
