Indie Developer Bidogames Announces Nioki Adventure

The inaugural title from the new studio is coming to PC and XBLIG.

Bidogames, a new studio comprised of two people, has announced plans to release its first independent game on PC and Xbox Live's Indie Games service. Titled, Nioki Adventure, the game will feature a Terraria-influenced experience.

EA Games Purchased Elsewhere Available Through Origin

Some player accounts are finding EA purchases made at retail or on Steam available on Origin.

Gamers who use Steam or who purchased a game by Electronic Arts in the past two years might want to check Origin to see what games the service says you own. Reports from G4 earlier today are indicating that some games are available to play through the Origin service if they were bought elsewhere. EA confirmed this, with some provisions and clarity.

Lionhead Studios Counting Down to GDC

Since E3 last year, not much has been heard from Peter Molyneux or Lionhead Studios. After revealing their next title, the Kinect game Fable: The Journey, details on the game or a statement of any kind has not been released. It seems that will change as a countdown clock has appeared on the developer's website today.

Jet Set Radio Receives Summer Release Date on XBLA, PSN, PC

A contest for 18 new pieces of in game art was also announced.

As previously revealed, Jet Grind Radio (or rather Jet Set Radio) is going to see a return with a port of the original. We now know that's to a post on Sega's blog that an HD version of the tagging classic will be coming to Xbox Live Arcade, PlayStation Network, and PC this summer.

Every now and again a game will come along that defies classification. Such is the case with Asura’s Wrath, a mysterious game from CyberConnect2 and Capcom. Announced with little fanfare and even less information, Asura’s Wrath has been a difficult game to peg. Is it an action game? Is it a simple beat-'em-up, ala Final Fight? Street Fighter X Tekken Preview

The Number 1 Contender for Fighting Game Champion.

This generation has been extremely kind to the fighting game enthusiast. Not only have we seen the rebirth of franchises such as Street Fighter, SoulCalibur and King of Fighters, but we have seen things happen that were previously unlikely for the genre. Nobody thought we would see Marvel vs. Capcom 3 after 10 years, yet last year we got not one, but two different versions of the long-awaited sequel.

BlazBlue: Continuum Shift Extend Review

Awesome fighting mechanics and a variety of modes make this one of the best fighting games released recently.

BlazBlue: Continuum Shift Extend is an updated version of the original Continuum Shift that was released in 2010 with extra content. I myself am a big fan of the fighting game genre but I've yet to play a BlazBlue title. Although I was initially not impressed, as I continued to play, the game opened up and I  was rewarded with a complex, but gratifying combat system, an intriguing story mode and a colorful cast of combatants.

In case you haven’t heard, Double Fine has a kickstarter campaign that’s paid off very well for them so far.  Currently, the ticker indicates they’ve been pledged over two and a half million dollars, and they’ve got some new incentives that might help push that number even higher.
