I liked Assassin's Creed Black Flag a lot. Did they do anything with the tablet for the Wii U version? I wonder if they took advantage of it for menus or gameplay purposes

Well I promised it, so here it goes... I plan on showing off a lot of games. I figure 12 a day at 28 days would be meeting my threshold, plus my thoughts on the games themselves. I plan on doing a better set up with my camera with other games and experimenting with different ways to take pictures so let me know if 12 is enough or if I should just sprawl my mountain of wii games across my living room!
With 007 Legends I couldn't quite get a good picture of the side as the gold lettering wasn't showing up correctly. Either way I enjoy James Bond games as I have both Goldeneye and Quantum of Solace on the Wii. It's a fairly simple game. You go from point a to b shooting enemies and it spreads it's stories over 5 of the main series movies. It's a bit of a mixed bag overall though.
Ah now here we go. We got a nice list of games up there
Assassin's Creed 3 & 4- I bought both of these and enjoyed them quite a bit. I'm not really up on the Assassin's Creed franchise having only played 2, 3 and 4. I can say I enjoy 4's swashbuckling, sea faring gameplay more, but it's nice to see how they took some of the boat elements of 3 and refined them into an even better experience in 4. What can I say? I love epic ship battles and harpooning whales.
Batman: Arkham City-Armored Edition & Batman Origins- I really enjoyed Batman: Arkham Asylum for the PS3 and the Wii U versions of City and Origins were dirt cheap. While Origins isn't as good as City, both are pretty fun.
Bayonetta 1 & 2- So even though you can't tell from the side. I got Bayonetta 2 which came bundled with the original Bayonetta on disc. Both are very fun beat-em ups or hack n slash em ups...whatever the case it was cool to get into the franchise. Here's hoping for Bayonetta 3 on Switch!
Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker- This was just a fun little game. I really enjoyed the Captain Toad missions in Super Mario 3D World and having a game dedicated to his exploits was enjoyable. It can be a little repetetive and don't get me started on Mummy Maze Forever... 50 floors is just mean.
Darksiders II- I have the first Darksiders and 2 improved a lot and was also really different. It had a a lot to offer and I'm looking forward to Darksiders 3 whenever it comes out. It's definitely an enjoyable series for me.
Deus Ex: Human Revolution- I'll be honest... I haven't gotten around to playing Deus Ex yet. I heard good things that the director's cut fixed and I like all the extras that come with it. But I have yet to actually you know...play it lol.
Donkey Kong: Tropical Freeze- With the return of David Wise and some really cool (pun entirely intended) levels Tropical Freeze outdid everything Donkey Kong Country Returns did. With additions of Cranky and Trixie this sequel was a fantastic edition. Now if only they had more animal buddies than Rambi and Squawk.
DuckTales: Remastered- Let's face facts... I'm old. Old enough to know I still have an NES and a cartridge of the original DuckTales in my closet (though ducktales 2 is the ever elusive expensive high ticket item). WayForward knocked it out of the park with this game and I hope that maybe it'll lead to a Chip & Dale remaster. Maybe? Disney? Capcom? Pretty Please?
Game & Wario- Game & Wario is an odd game. It's not a traditional microgame compilation like most Warioware style games. Game & Wario only has 16 mini games...each more absurd than the last. My problem is that the game is incredibly short, the only replay value comes in getting medals to unlock capsules and some of the mini games are tough. Captain Wario keeps making fun of my dance moves and I can't draw a face on a robot for Dr. Crygor to save my life.
Anyways tune in tomorrow for more of my Wii U collection!
