As we sail off on this years bad I'll reminisce often about older Bad's I've done. It's been quite a undertaking participating in this every year and I always try to come up with some sort of interesting thing or maybe just something interesting in general.

So Super Mario Odyssey's free DLC came out and Luigi's Baloon World has consumed me. I admit. I had a farewell series of blogs all posted up for this years BaD...and then it happened. Like a thief in the night...LUIGI...

So with the weekend upcoming and only a few more days of blogging left. I have to create this particular mess of a blog by pointing out other great hidden gems for other systems. The reviews will be a lot more condensed and shorter, but you may find some titles you have yet to play and want to give a shot

In this blog about hidden gems, we come across a more well known title. In fact, the game in question is playable in America. But for a long time, this game was secluded to being Japan exclusive, yet another Nintendo title with yet another Japan only game. Still without further ado, let's discuss today's hidden gem... Sin & Punishment for the N64.

As I continue with hidden gems throughout BaD I have yet another game I would like to highlight. This time, we're moving to the 16bit era with the SNES. And we're going for the trifecta of games never released in North America. There was an english translation and the game was released in Europe for the PAL region, so luckily we can play the game and understand it. So let's take a look at todays hidden gem... Terranigma.

Hidden gems are more often hidden for a reason. As I stated yesterday when talking about Klonoa for the Wonderswan, there are many terrific games that didn't see a western release. So yet again, I am going to discuss another game that wasn't released outside of Japan. This title is is Radia Senki: Reimeihen (AKA: Chronicle of the Radia War) for the Nintendo Famicom.

Having an emulator has its perks. Some of the great games you can sometimes play are those that never get released over on North American shores. One such game I managed to finally get to play is of such distinction. Not only is it a hidden gem, but it was also released on a handheld console never released in America. Today I'm talking about Kaze no Klonoa: Moonlight Museum (AKA- Klonoa of the Wind: Moonlight Museum) for the Wonderswan!

Well today isn't going to be too eventful. I planned on discussing some hidden gems, but that can wait until next week. Instead I want to brag today. That's right. After about over 1450 deaths later I am now the number 1 overall speedmaster on Mutant Mudds Super Challenge on the Nintendo Switch!

So I mentioned yesterday that I would be discussing some Switch stuff, but I felt I left off my Wii U games I bought over the year as well. Of course it's not very astonishing stuff. Only about A couple games which are as follows: Darksiders: Warmastered Edition- This was like $10 or something when I bought it and it's probably the weakest performing Darksiders game to date. The game has severe slowdown despite touting 60fps, there are various points where my game froze or crashed, and yet somehow I still found myself enjoying the game just as much as I did when I had it for my PS3 before selling it. I got Paper Mario: Color Splash- Agame as awesome looking as this severely underwhelmed me. I wasn't against the card mechanic. In fact, I gave it it's fair shake. More often than not I found myself with more cards than I wanted, making me ditch a bunch to get ones that I did. The story was decent, I had a good chuckle. The overall game like I said looks amazing. There were also some moments that had me consult a guide to try and figure out certain things. Overall, it's a far cry from the fantastic first game. I also got the SteamWorld Collection which consists of both SteamWorld Dig & SteamWorld Heist...two fantastic games that I really enjoyed. SteamWorld Dig is like a DigDug/Spelunky style games as you dig further and further down to reach the end. SteamWorld Heist is a turn based RPG that's a bit unusual to explain. It's a turne based, movement based, strategy shooter rpg...if you can make sense of it...It's a darn good game! I also got Runner 2 and 3 free Wii U download titles in Cube Shift, Humanitarian Helicopter, and Daikon Set. They were free so I figured "eh why not?" None of them are remotely deep and Humanitarian Helicopter doesn't even work...oh well.
