Yes, I'm still talkin bout Borderlands 2

Well I took a little break actually to play the Mass trilogy. I had played through Borderlands 2 seven times at that point.  Got my Mechromancer, Siren, and Assassin to lv 50 and my Commando to lv 32. I just finished putting my commando through TVH mode and got him to 50. And I started Ultimate Vault Hunter mode with my Mech and have already got her to lv 61.

So now I have finaly got around to building my Gunzerker and I have to say he is way funner to play than I thought he would be. If you want a class that just front loades damage with rediculous ease he is the guy for the job. Other fps games have used double weilding guns, but its usually reserved to pistols and smgs. Salvadore can duel weild any kind of weapon in any combination. Shot gun and Rocket launcher? Your bet. Sniper and an Assault rifle? No problem. You could weild two of the same kind of weapon, but they both are drawing from the same pool of amo, so you can burn through it pretty fast. Even though he can regen amo, until you get to a high level, learn the right skills and equip the right class mod, it is better to mix it up in the beginning.

So I figure by the time I get my Zerker and then the Psyco up to par the final dlc campaign will be out, and hopefully I with not be totally burned on this game. My back log is getting ugly from neglect too so I my have to take another breather before I top this one off.

So anyone else got the Borderlands bug? Always down to hear about a favored build or rediculously lucky legendary drop. Laters for now. Laughing

I'm not info Borderlands myself, but if you like Borderlands, you may want to pick up Poker Night 2.  I'm working on a review of it right now.

Yeah , I've been hearing about this. Apparently you can win some realy cool exclusive heads and skins buy playing it. Not a big fan of poker but if its not too expensive I'll have to check it out. Borderlands seems to be hot or cold like that for folks, you either love it or hate.

I loved Borderlands 1 and 2, however I never finished the 2nd one. It was a great game and all, but my buddy whom I normally play Borderlands with has been rather absent since last year whenever he started his new job in a Hospital Lab.

I definitely need to get back into it though. I tried going through by myself but it just wasn't the same as having a co-op partner.

Yeah, solo play is not bad but this game was realy designed with co-op in mind. None of my friends are gamers despite my attempts to convert them, lol. So I just started jumping into games and although I did run into some assholes, I have been lucky and actually met a handful of cool people who understand team work and are not loot hogs. I got almost all my legendaries from these guys duping them for me, often without me even asking.  But if your playing on the PS3 just add me, because good teammates really are kind of hard to find. My PSN ID is sifusong78.

I loved the first Borderlands. I haven't played the second at all. It's one of my "must buy" games, I like so many, have quite the backlog though which prevents me from buying new full-priced games. My PSN is the same as my screen name on here btw if you want to add me on there.

I plan to go back to the 1st game eventually. I have a single play through with Mordicai and Lilith, so there is a lot left to do. Didn't have internet then so I never got to play multiplayer. I'll add you for sure. But yeah give it about a year and you'll probly be able to get the GTY edition with all the extras.

Still holding out for a GOTY equivalent. Still, Borderlands 2 tempts me with its' "siren" song!

Yeah, thats how I discovered this series. I nabbed a used copy of the GTY version of the first game and have been obsessed ever since. The Siren rules, she's probably my second favorite character. The Mechromancer Gaige is still holdind top spot for me.

I couldn't really get into Borderlands, but mainly because I didn't have anybody to play it with, and random people online suck lol. Everybody was running off doing their own thing. There wasn't any cooperation at all. Isn't that the whole point of the game? I bet it's a lot better with friends and teamwork.

Well I didn't have internet when I played the 1st game and I still had a lot of fun with it. Admittedly my first couple of expiriences playing BL2 on line were not so great. But I keep going on and have actually met and befriended some good players who know team work and are always down to dupe any good gear they may have.I play with them whenever they are on.  I still join games, sometimes the people suck, they might be annoying kids or sometimes they are dickish grown ups. But its realy just like meeting people in real life, the good ones are hard to find but they are there if you look hard enough.

yeah that's true. I didn't put too much time into it to be honest. I'm sure there are some great team players out there, and I hope to give it another shot someday. Or maybe I should just go with the second one if it's that much better. Dual wielding rocket launchers and sniper rifles does sound pretty awesome! Cool

Gearbox pretty much took everything that was good in the first game and improved it dramatically. There is much more distinction between the look, feel, and characteristics in the diffrerent gun makers. Although this is hit or miss for some, Hyperion and Bandit guns kind of suck, but have their uses. The story and over all production is way better. And the ability skills are much more useful this time around and can be customized giving each class more than one way to be used. And even with out the dlc it is a huge game with lots of stuff to do and find. I'm on my 8th play through and I'm still finding stuff that I had missed on previous play throughs.

I had been playing Borderlands 2 very regularly until Bioshock Infinite came along. Now that I finished it I can get back to it. The Gunzerker is next on my list to try. I had played the first game, but not all the DLC. So I'm probably going to get the GOTY edition at some point to experience that. So much goodness packed into a single game, what's not to love?

I actually need to go back to the first myself. Got a single play through with Mordicai almost complete, still have to beat Jacobs Cove and the Underdome. Almost finished a play through with Lilith when 2 came out. I just took my Gunzerker into TVH mode tonight. I hope to get everyone to lv 61 before the final campaign drops. But this makes playthrough #10 (yeah, its rediculous!), I'll be quoting this damn game in my sleep before long, LOL.

I plan on getting Bioshock Infinite soon. Even though it appears to not be directly tired to the previous games, I kind of want to play them first.
