Tomorrow is the big day. Less than 24 hours to go. The fanboys out there are on fire. I was highly amused by all the nerd rage and rants going on this morning online. Why do people get so upset and feel the need to lash out? This is a wonderful thing, people! Personally I can't wait. It's gonna be like a tiny E3 for me tomorrow. All the mysteries will be unravelled, questions will be finally answered. Who gets mad about something as great as that? I wonder sometimes......

What I'm listening to today........

I'm pretty excited as well.

More-so, I'm just excited to have truth over rumors. I think that's going to be the best part! Are we going to get stuck with Always-Online? Will it have Blu-Ray? Are all consoles going to be bundled with Kinect 2.0? Will the Kinect have to be connected in order to play?

Granted, I'm sure there will be plenty of questions gone unanswered, but some answers are better than none.

I'm with you. I've had more than my fill of angsty speculation from the internet. I hope Microsoft gives us lots of cold hard facts tomorrow.

I'm feeling very positive about the whole thing. I don't think Microsoft will shoot themselves in the foot. They will do right by the people who made the 360 a huge success story.

I'm getting a little excited.  Honestly, I have mixed feelings about the Xbox 360. They had crappy exclusives except for XBLA.  But I loved the original Xbox, and I gained sentiment for Microsoft for that.  Let's hope this new machine is cool and has exclusives other than sci-fi shooters and COD

One can only hope. Halo and COD do not make or break a console. 360 won me over even though I was one of the folks who experienced the "Red Ring Of Death". They made it up to me by sending me a refurbished unit that lasted many years. Now I have the fancy one with the big HD in it.

Im pretty pumped cause i really want to know am i going Microsoft or Sony and then we can all put the speculation to rest and concentrate on whats important and thats software for the new systems.

You got that right. Games are what count in the long run. Always have, always will.

It took me 4 years into the 360's life to buy my own system (granted, I was mooching off my brother's 360, but still) so my big question (as a traditional late adopter) is how long will it take me to save up enough to buy one, should I want one?

I can't think of what would make me buy this thing day one but it would probably be some incredible game. I pulled the trigger on 360 when Oblivion came out about six months after the 360 launch. It's always the games for me.

That's a big question for me as well. I often set aside some of my Christmas bonus or tax return for big ticket items. This would certainly count as one.

I wont buy a new system fir a year or two im going to take advantage of the price drops on the current systems cause i still want a ps3 and alot of rpgs i missed thats not on the 360.

Xboxeve! I love it! It does feel like that. 1pm tomorrow on the east coast.

I was listening to Major Nelson's podcast (I guess he would be Santa on Xboxday) and he litterally shouted the word "Infinity" in reference to some game for no apparent reason. I don't know if he was giving a hint or a misdirect, but it did make my ears perk up (not like a rabbit, just made me listen harder).

Infinity is what they're saying the new XBOX is named, so I think that's why he said that ... but that's technically a rumor, so we'll see tomorrow.

I love his podcast. one of the best audio gaming podcasts out there. Indoor Kids is a close second for me. Major Nelson is the man. I respect his opinions on games.

So it is tomorrow. Thought it was Wednesday for some reason.

I'd have no idea who gets mad at this stuff. Eleven-year-olds, maybe? Not that I'd know from experience ... *ahem*

I'm excited for this, too. Finally get to have some facts in place of rumors, see what everything looks like, what games are coming, etc.

Nice song choice. lol

Just seemed fitting today... a countdown to a console. News about one anyway! I think a lot of flame wars you see in forums are just a bunch of trolls who like to get others pissed off by any means they can.

I know I'm stoked to see how MS plans to counter all the good will and buzz Sony's had for the past 3 months. Plus we'll finally have a sense of how the full slate of next-gen hardware will be.

It could go either way,but I think they had time to think on it. Maybe back off on the online-always thing. We will see very soon.

in the end, all I really want to know about is the games.  If tomorrow's focus is going to be the hardware, and non-exclusives, then I will be a little disappointed.  The hardware is not going to be a surprise, everything else could be.

Pretty much a given the hardware will be solid. But I hope that like Sony, they keep a good focus on games. I already have other devices for music and web browsing, thank you MS.

I want to see the software and how much better it looks a system is just a system with out the games and im curious to see what 3rd party companys are jumping on board what system.

Sometimes it's best to wait a bit. The launch tiltes are usually so-so,nothing that i can't wait a few months to play. I've heard that a lot of games will be cross-platform,as the two consoles are both powerhouses.

I saw all the news unloaded today and I'm not the least bit excited. I'm pretty sour on my experience with Xbox 360 though. I am interested in what happens with the PS4 however.
